  I was not very impressed with this rental. I thought the furniture was uncomfortable especially the bed and the sofa. The bathroom too small. There was no privacy due to sheer curtains on the main floor and the need to shower with the skylight open to alleviate moisture peeling the paint in the bathroom. I was quite displeased to find that since I had turned the heat on I was going to have to pay the owner 5 euros on the spot or she was going to wait for her heating bill before releasing my security deposit.
  On the plus side the neighbors were very nice.

  The response of the owner, Mrs Goldstein:
  
  "The rental was perfectly represented through the multiple pictures on the website, and of course, the privacy was totally respected.
  
  The "plus" was the care that we gave to both of our guests, especially because one of them was an older person. We took the time and effort to give valuable information about public transportation and the district, especially since the tenants were not able to speak one word of French.
  We also carried their heavy weighted suitcases and spent a consequent amount of time to order a taxi without reservation fees to get to the train station, located a walking distance away.
  
  We like to keep a very friendly atmosphere in our propriety, and it was a true disillusion to read such comment. About the deposit, it was given back the very next day, which was largely "appreciated" by the tenants, through email"

  Great place to stay as a base to explore the city. Good neighborhood, lots of restaurants and bars. The owner of the place lives next door, a charming, very helpful lady. Same goes to the other owners of apartments in the that block. Only downside: The little table and chairs in front of the place, in the court, look very intreguing but can't be used.
