      Lovely apartment...great location!

Left on 01/07/2013 for a stay in January 2013

My 14 yo and I, loved the apartment. Very well located and just couple of blocks from the metro(it is not next door, but we didn't mind). We don't cook, but the apartment is fully equipped(actually, the whole apartment is fully equipped). We were surprised how big the living room(with a sofa/bed) and bedroom(with a full/bed) were. We go to Paris very often and rooms are very tiny over there. Lots of closet space. We didn't need it, but the washing machine was a plus. The area is very safe and the apartment even more...2 huge doors downstairs, 1 massive("zombie proof", as my son said)before the apartment's terrace and the glass door to the living room. We understand a little French, so we watched TV, but the apartment comes with a DVD player and we always can bring your laptop/tablet(we had internet the whole time). We were there winter time, and the heaters(bedroom and living room) were wonderful. Very quiet, but here and there, we could hear our upstairs neighbor walking and talking... didn't bother us...we were in Paris...nothing can bother us! No elevator(lots of stairs)...but when we are at hotels, we always take the stairs anyways. We didn't care about it, but it might be a problem to others. The check in and checkout were perfect. Very on time. Our hostess was very nice. Lots of little restaurants and cafes around. We became regular of "Café de la Comédie" on 157 rue St Honoré by Palais Royal/Musée du Louvre metro station.
They were always open late(we had our first "croque-monsieur" of 2013 at 1:30am there).
The apartment was perfect and I will recommend!
One tip: We took the RER and the Metro(Directions:From the Charles de Gaulle airport, take the RER B train, direction Massy-Palaiseau, and change at Chatelet-les-Halles. Take Metro line 1 (yellow) at Chatelet-les-Halles and get off at Palais Royale/Musee du Louvre), but if you get to Paris at night, raining and don't know how to walk around it, just take a taxi. The apartment street is very little and couple of blocks from the Metro Station... at night/suitcases/rain, it might be stressful if you don't know the area. If you arrive in Paris day time or when you leave it, try the Metro and RER(it is the fast, easy and inexpensive way).

Fabulous cosy little hideaway in a great location

Left on 10/10/2012 for a stay in September 2012

Very happy with this cute little apartment. Comfortable and well-styled, in a great location with everything in working order. There was quite a lot of construction going on in the building during my stay, but it wasn't much problem as I was out all day every day.
I would suggest the apartment is best for up to 2 people, 4 would be a real squeeze.
The stairs are very small and tightly winding, it could be challenging if you have a large suitcase.
Checking in and out was very convenient, and everything was explained in great detail, thanks to M for making it so easy.

      As advertised

Left on 04/23/2012 for a stay in April 2012

This apartment was exactly as advertised. An adorable, bright little walk-up. Just the right size for two. Looks into a private courtyard, so it was very quiet at night. The windy staircases were charming and not a problem during the day, but were a bit intimidating with luggage. Would definitely not recommend this space to anyone with small children, disabilities or elderly as a result.
