Bowling Green KentuckyIt was wonderful!
Left on 01/31/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We were in Paris for Christmas and the apartment was perfect! It is a block from the Metro, there is a great corner bakery and several good neighborhood restaurants. It is located in a Paris neighborhood and not touristy at all. There is a beautiful floor to ceiling window, it has a wonderful big tub perfect for a long hot bubble bath. The apartment is bright and happy. I would recommend it to everyone. We loved our stay. The rental people are all very nice and helpful and speak English very well which was helpful to us.

Left on 01/07/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Very nice apartment. Good location in a very good area (there are many shops , minimarket, cinema , restaurant) . Strategical position with stop alesia at 5 minutes by walk (line 4 , one of main lines).
The apartment is "parisienne" ! anyway for young people is ok , the bathroom can rapresent a little problem for someone (for us not so much) because there is no classical shower , but bath tub. Moreover the bathroom is in old style , i think to preserve a tipycal french style of '50 or '60. Perfect heating plant, very warm apartment, no extra-charge for our 6 days. The kitchen is small and essential but everything is ok , with all you need to cook. The bedroom small but very quite, little bed , maybe for tall people not so ok . Matress so and so but anyway i slept really very well . Towels and bed sheets very clean. Perfect staff services, correct , you can trust them , really. I could come back in this apartment next time and i suggest it for who journeys with friends , for young couples, for young families. i can say i'm satisfacted about everything . Enjoy your stay in Paris ! -

New YorkThe perfect place
Left on 11/08/2011 for a stay in November 2011
This is a beautiful, airy, clean, and very practical apartment in a great neighborhood of Paris. The main advantage of the place is its wonderful double-height windows and its cheerful feeling. Apartments in Paris, especially small ones, can get gloomy and dark. This one gives the illusion of more space, and it s definitely very comfortable for one or two people, and possibly for a family with one child. The main room has minimal and functional furniture, and is very pleasant to relax or work. The kitchen is small, but it has what is needed - microwave, two burners, coffee maker - for some basic cooking. The bedroom is cozy and quiet, and the bathroom has a great old-fashioned bathtub for soaking the day away. Only problem with the apartment is that the stairs leading to it are rather narrow and steep, and the entry of the building is not well maintained. The neighborhood where the apartment is, metro alesia in the 14th, was also a revelation. I lived in Paris for 8 years in different arrondissements so I know the city and its feeling pretty well to say that this neighborhood is the closest to "real” Paris you can get. It is a solid bourgeois quartier, without tourists, with great shops very close to the house, convenient transportation (metro and buses), very nice restaurants, and beautiful architecture tucked away in small streets and alleys. The bakery just around the corner from the house and the small but very informed bookstore, add to a very homey feeling. The people who run the agency are charming and absolutely reliable, punctual, and accommodating. My whole experience was excellent, and I will definitely go back to the same place again and again.

Toronto, CanadaExcellent Loft appartment with the Pasisian Charm!
Left on 10/05/2010 for a stay in September 2010
Absolutely Great Parisian apartment.
Clean. Charming. Spacious.
Great value for your dollar.
Located 5 min walk to the subway line #4. Which takes you to the most major attractions.
Apartment has everything you need:
1) Bed on the second floor with the charming window (view on rooftops just charming Parisian scene)
2) Bathroom with a deep bath tab. It is not designed for taking showers, although u must experience socking yourself after a long day of walking into the bath with warm water and just enough space for the second party ;)
3) The main floor is there the dining table is and the second bed-sofa... We found the sofa bed on main floor even more comfortable than the bed upstairs.
4) The most charming French Balcony with opening doors to the street will give you that feeling that you are in fact in Paris. Not to mention high ceilings. Tv and phone is also located there on the main floor.
5) Kitchen is very small. some might say tiny! But we cooked there every night and found that it has everything you need. It served us well.
This apartment is on the third floor with swirl stair... so I would not recommend it to people with difficulty walking up the stairs.
Otherwise this place is just perfect for Romantic Getaway, Friends getaway, or Family vacation up to 4ppl.
If you think that you will not spend much time in the apartment, because you'll be walking around looking at all the attractions. Trust me this apartment is the attraction on it's own. Coming back and felling that you are a Parisian living in Paris is what we got from that place.
If i had money i'd buy it!

The apartment at rue Moulin Vert suited us perfectly. The location is a little ways off the beaten track but for us that was great. We wanted a real Parisian neighborhood rather than a touristy area. The area around alesia feels like a place where people live. We were there a week and got to know where things are - laundry, post office, great restaurants, etc.
Recommend the Moulin Vert at the end of the street (just half a block from the apartment) for dinner and also Zeyer's by the metro (very authentic feeling brasserie).
Only reservation was that the kitchen was pretty basic - just a hot plate. But hey, we were in Paris and weren't that inclined to cook anyway!
Another great plus - the apartment was extremely quiet which was a surprise.
We recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to locate in the alesia neighborhood and doesn't mind being a bit off the beaten path. -

Left on 09/24/2010 for a stay in July 2010

Left on 07/09/2010 for a stay in June 2010
My husband and I stayed with another couple and we had a wonderful time. The apt is sparsely furnished but functional. The beds were satisfactory and the washing machine was a great feature. We really enjoyed meals in front of the giant windows overlooking the street. Weeknights were calm and quiet, but weekends were a little noisy with people in the streets. The area was great for experiencing Parisian life rather than touristy area. Nice grocery, restaurants and metro station all within 5 mins walk.

Loved the location and quirky nature of the apartment. Loved the neighbourhood - safe with many amenities. Close to metro and supermarket, bakeries and more. Did not enjoy not having a shower box and the towels were old and need to be replaced. Would we return? - yes!

Kennett Square, PAAwesome stay!
Left on 07/09/2010 for a stay in June 2010
Everything was perfect - we had an early flight arrival, they let us come and place our luggage while they cleaned (so that we didn't have to haul it all over Paris). It was clean, comfortable, and very well located. Easy to get to all the tourist areas in Paris, plus a Monoprix right next to it. It was warm, so a table fan would have been nice, but all in all, I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who asks. There are plenty of narrow stairs to climb - so keep that in mind in case you have mobility issues. We even had fun meeting the neighbors :)

Mecklenburg (Deutschland)ein eigenes Reich mitten in Paris
Left on 05/18/2010 for a stay in May 2010

Klaus, Thank you! We really appreciate your feedback. Just one note, the reasons why we didn't change the sinks both in the kitchen and the bath room is that they have somewhat of a historical value. They're the sinks where Leger and other major French painters washed their brushes throughout the 1900s. We feel sorry to just throw them away for the sake of spotlessness. We believe that as long as they're perfectly clean the fact that they're old and somewhat unusual only adds to the 'charme' rather than not. Same goes for the bath tub. We're probably going to put tiles on the wall against it to avoid it keeps peeling off (we repaint it every year).

AustraliaGreat week in Paris
Left on 05/06/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Excellent position. Easy metro access, baker at the end of the street and Carrefour supermarket is close (better than nearer Monoprix). Well equipped with comfortable beds.
My only negative comment wold be the stairs - and I must emphasise that we were warned about them. If three flights of steep narrow stairs plus another to the bedroom don't worry you this is an ideal apartment - but don't take heavy suitcases. Many thanks to Gabriella for her help!

I was there for a photoshoot and I couldn't have asked better. Huge windows, stylish apartment on the minimalist side.
I liked the location. Ten minutes by velo' (the city bikes you can rent around the corner) to the latin quarter and 15 to the Marais. The way back (uphill) you take the metro line and it drops you beside the apartment (alesia). -

Left on 12/18/2009 for a stay in November 2009
Geschirr gut arrangieren. Gerne behalten wir die Adresse für einen
zukünftigen Aufenthalt in Paris bereit. -

Left on 12/06/2009 for a stay in June 2008
My familiy (couple + 2 kids) stayed for a week in this small but cute apartment. I think the place was right to us, bright living room, technologically equipped, well comunicated to the public transport network and not too far from touristic areas.
Kitchen was really small, but enough for us and the stairs to access the apartment are a bit narrow when you carry luggage.
Possibly I'd come back to it in the future. -

Cairo EgyptIf you want to live a DREAM
Left on 12/02/2009 for a stay in July 2008
....you find yourself in the charming artist studio right in the heart of lovely
PARIS. Entering "rue de moulin vert" transformed me immediately in the
world of french senses. The lovely pastry shops and cafes around the corner,
not to talk about the outstanding "greacy french croissants" that even taste
like heaven in the middle of the night. My mind and heart was blown away
though when I felt the loving spirit of this gorgeous flat decorated in a
puristic, open style. The wooden parket is still telling you a story of the
good old days and if you wish to listen to the sound of Paris you simply
walk towards the inviting huge window doors and sit on the small balcony
side and gently close your eyes. Walking up the wooden staircase to the
"maisonette area", you can indulge yourself in a fabulous old bath tub that
takes you on a journey of upmost pampering. So get yourself some foamy
bath essences and a glass of champagne of course and simply ENJOY. Your
soul shall find a peaceful night rest when you embrace your body in the
cosy sleeping area. The room reminded me on a tender cabin on a cruise
sailing into a dream world. The only difference is that the view out of the
bedroom window invites you to fly over the roofs of Paris and challenges
you to let your spirit free.
Useless to mention I guess - I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE .......and
whenever I feel I need some time to rest, I close my eyes in the daily
activities and let my soul fly to "rue de moulin vert" :););)*)
To finalize my feedback, let me pay some extra attention on the services of
PARIS REFERENCES. It was my first time ever to book any vacation rentals
over the internet and I was quite hesitant and anxious whether everything
would be according to what was described in the homepage. I have to
strongly emphasize that the special care taking provided in terms of
information, quality and organization of my Paris trip was outstanding. It is
great to know that there are people TRUST -

Left on 11/19/2009 for a stay in July 2009
