In the heart of Saint Germain!

No need to choose between the different atmospheres of the neighborhoods on the right and left banks of the Seine. The location of the Picasso apartment allows you to discover both ... on foot!

A few minutes walk will allow you to enjoy Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, and the Tuileries gardens, or even choose the festive atmosphere of the Quartier Latin (Latin Quarter) and Saint Germain.

And finally, the proximity of subway lines 4 and 10 (Odéon stop) and the RER B line (Saint Michel Station) offers guest's easy access to all Paris destinations and a direct connection to Rois...sy Charles de Gaulle airport and almost direct to Orly airport.

The apartment:

The Picasso apartment is located on the 5th floor (no elevator access) of the building in which Dora Maar, one of the mistresses of the famous painter Picasso lived!

A small effort is required to climb the stairs (you'll find out Parisians' secret to being slim!), but when you open the door and go in, you'll find a charming loft-style accommodation, where old centennial beams and contemporary furnishings blend seamlessly together.

The living room offers a comfortable sofa bed (sleeps 2, 160cm) and all modern day commodities (LCD TV, wireless Internet access, etc.). Furthermore, a modular table will allow you to take your meals, prepared in the adjoining open-plan kitchen, in comfort.

A staircase in the living room gives you access to the apartment's first bedroom with sloping rooves and equipped with a double bed (sleeps 2, 140 cm). A cosy little nest under beamed ceilings which overlooks the main room, perfect for love-birds who should nevertheless watch their heads because the room is under the eaves and the height of it does not allow guests to fully stand-up!

The apartment's second bedroom is through a corridor with no doors and has a sofa bed (140cm) which can accommodate two additional guests.

Finally, a full-bathroom will allow you to relax before going out to enjoy the treasures and pleasures of the Saint Germain district.

  We rented this apartment through Way to Stay, But you can also rent it direct from the owner. The Owner alain Buffle was wonderful!!!. They met us and gave us the history of the building and neighborhood. Alain then helped us carry our bags up the "yes" six flights of stairs! The apartment was full of amenities including a phone that you could place free calls to land lines all over the world. The apartment was clean, well furnished and the personal details were fantastic!
  
  We were three friends travelling and each had their own bed plus there was still one additional bed. Also one bathroom.
  
  The apartment is very comfortable, modern and roomy. The beds are two loft beds, a sofa bed and a convertable bed in a separate room but with no door.
  
  The location is fantastic as it is close to everything and also close to the metro. We took the train to and from the airport and walked to the apartment. Security is great also, there is a secure door into the complex and then the apartment is located six floors up. This is the top floor so you have no one going past your door. While it is quite a hike up the stairs is also makes for complete quite! We heard no noise from other neighbors or the street!
  
  There are restaurants all a block or so away as well as a large grocery two blocks away.
  
  We had a great stay and would definately recommend to anyone willing to climb the stairs!
