Crown mouldings, timber framing, and a fireplace lend this fourth-floor, 35 m² apartment lots of rustic charm. The front entrance leads into the bedroom, which looks out onto the private yard. Being away from street, the bedroom (7 m²) is very quiet. There is a double bed and walk-in closet (approx. 1 m²) in the bedroom. A glass-paned door separates the bedroom from the living room (16 m²). Two large windows overlooking the street fill the living room with natural light. Jardin des Plantes is a pleasant and central neighbourhood in Paris’s 5th arrondissement on the Left Bank bordered by Rue Monge and the Université de Jussieu. With all the shops on the nearby Rue Monge and the restaurants and bars on Rue Mouffetard, the neighbourhood is bustling both day and night. An open-air market is held every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday morning at Place Monge, only minutes from the apartment. The neighbourhood is a short walk from a number of the main tourist attractions, making it the perfect starting point for anyone wanting to explore the city (the Jardin des Plantes and Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle are only a 2-minute walk away, the Panthéon is a 10-minute walk away, and the Luxembourg Gardens and Notre-Dame Cathedral a 15 minute walk away). The neighbourhood is near public transportation (the Métro will get you to the Louvre in 7 minutes, and the Paris Opera or Les Grands Magasins in 10 minutes).

Left on 09/24/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We loved staying in this apartment. We orignially booked an apartment with a private court yard but this was cancelled due to a flood. It was dealt with very professionally. We were abit upset we wouldnt get a court yard but this apartments location more then made up for it. It is close to a metro station and tourst attractions. The apartment itself was nice & fully stocked with any essentials you would need including free wifi which was an nice bonus.
The only thing I would complain about was the fact the lady was 30 mins late to take the keys back from us. We had to get the train back to London so it was annoying & she didnt apologise. Everything else was fantastic.
