This two-room, open-concept apartment (51 m²) is on the secnd floor and accessible by elevator. The apartment is well-equipped and centres round a bright, southeast-facing living room that overlooks a small, private yard with trees. Warm colours and parquet flooring make the apartment very welcoming and cosy. There is a large closet with sliding doors in the front entrance (5 m²). The living room (25 m² - southeast facing) is spacious and features built-in shelves, cupboards, a double sofa-bed, coffee table, and two armchairs. A kitchen table and four chairs are set up in front of two windows overlooking the yard. There are a...lso a couple of dressers, a TV, and CD player. The blue and yellow kitchen (5.5 m²) is longer than it is wide, yet spacious and well laid out. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (dishwasher, refrigerator, electric burners, oven, and microwave) and all the cooking and eating utensils you'll need. The kitchen has a large window that looks into the living room. The bedroom (11 m² - south facing) contains a double bed, two bedside tables and lamps, a wardrobe, and a dresser. The bedroom is quiet and bright, with a window that looks out onto the yard. Across from the bedroom, the bathroom (3.5 m²) has a bathtub, sink, and washing machine. Le Haut Marais is a central neighbourhood near public transportation. On one side, there is the Place de la République, near the Grands Boulevards district with its many theatres and the Canal St-Martin district with its bars and bobo restaurants. On the other is Le Marais, one of the oldest and most vibrant districts in the city, where restaurants and boutiques abound. The apartment’s central location makes it easy to get around the city (five Métro lines intersect at the Place de la République, giving you direct access to the Bastille, Madeleine, Opéra, and Châtelet Métro stations, as well as Les Grands Magasins). The apartment is on a small, quiet street off of the charming Rue de la Corderie, and mere minutes from the 3rd arrondissement's city hall. The nearby Place de la République is surrounded by restaurants and shops.
