Our visit to Park City for the first time was made particularly trouble free due to the assistance of our host Karen. Karen was able to provide us with all of the advice and contacts for all our needs. We were then welcomed with a lovely bottle of red to celebrate our vacation.
The condo is well located, with the free bus service stopping right outside the complex, so we could travel to all the resorts very simply. It has all of the amenities that we needed for a long stay and is in easy walking distance to Main Street for restaurants and great tourist shopping.
We would recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for a home away from home. -

The location really could not be beat. We had been talking about taking a day to go to alta, or maybe even just Deer Valley, but every day we'd wake up and it wasn't even a question - why go anywhere else when the bridge and the Town lift were pretty much right out the door? Literally a half a block away.
This place was perfect for our party of 5 adults. Loved the bathroom sinks! It was nice that the bedrooms could be made so dark - I know I slept a lot better than I do at home (it helped that there were no dogs or kids to contend with). The hot tub and pool were a nice treat. It was so perfect a situation that I'm having trouble imagining any better ski vacation anywhere - and I live in Colorado!
Karen, the proprietor, was the most helpful, gracious and kind concierge imaginable. -

This winter I stayed for the second time in this condo, owned and managed by Karen Porter. It was wonderful, even better than I remembered from my first stay. The location is unsurpassed, just a few steps from both the Town Lift, which leads directly to the magnificent slopes of Park City Mountain, and Main Street, with its shops, restaurants, art galleries, etc. The condo itself is cozy, very comfortable and equipped with all the utensils and amenities needed (and loved) by a big family like mine (couple + 4 children). But above all, it was the full time support provided by Karen, before and during our stay, that made this experience unforgettable. It's really worth the 6,000 mile trip from Rio de Janeiro. The two bedroom condo at Park Town had so much going for it, and in my 12 years attending the Sundance Film Festival, was the best place I ever stayed for several reasons. It was spacious and clean, and equipped with everything we needed. It was modern with great bathroom fixtures. My husband likes to cook and ski...the kitchen was great, the location convenient to the slopes, and of course to Main Street! We had parking, it was quiet at night despite all the goings on in Park City. The heated pool and hot tub were a real plus, too. I'd recommend this great condo to anyone.

Location-location...in the heart of old town/historic Main Street area. From the moment you begin dealing with the owner of this gem of a condo on Park avenue, you know it's all going to be a great experience. Location-location!! Only a very short walk to the "Town Lift"on Main Street (and I mean very short; seriously) and you're up the mountain and skiing in no time at all. All you need to do is buy your lift ticket at the "Park Station" front desk before walking to the Town Lift and you're set! Very clean and well-appointed. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and cozy with HD Tv's, nice sheets, towels and blankets, drawer space and closets. Even robes! The 2 bathrooms are nice with really pretty new sinks and faucets. The LR fireplace was such a nice bonus. This unit is on the first floor and is a corner unit so it's quiet. Looking outside the LR sliders you can see all the snow so it's very pretty! Full kitchen with great selection of dishes and cookware, etc. Stove, micro and DW, too. Great sized dining table for a some home-cooked meals. (Fresh Market and Ralph's are only a short free bus ride away). Although it's hard not to take advantage of all the great restaurants steps away on Main Street. The fact that the owner communicates so well completely eases your mind about blindly picking a place, (and handing over your credit card info.) for your family or friends' vacation. Karen's "Park Station Condo" offers everything you need for the perfect ski trip to "Park City Mountain Resort" or even "Deer Valley" which is a few minute (free) bus ride away. The bus stop is literally right out the front door of the "Park Station" entrance. You can go everywhere you'll need for free. No car necessary.

We looove staying at Karen's condo in Park City. We consider it our home away from home. It is beautifully kept, the location is perfect ( the bus to the mountains just outside the door, the town lift down the street, Old Town P.C. just a 3 minute walk away!!!) and it is a wonderful place to return to after a busy day of skiing. Whether you have younger or older kids or are "old " kids yourselves, this is a very comfortable place to stay. Karen is great to work with and quick to be certain that everything is just right. We have stayed at other places in Park City but, once staying here, we have returned to this condo ever since. Thank you, Karen, for our great holiday escape!!!

True walking distance to Old Town lift with ski boots on! I have been to Park City several times and this is one of the best locations. Great breakfast spot next door. If the snow is good you can ski to within 50ft of the door. Old Town is where all the restaurants and shops are located. No need for a car! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Free public bus stops right at the condo, it is fast and easy to use. The Condo is well decorated and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it or stay there again!!!

I have visited Park City 5 times now always for the Sundance Film Festival.
This condo has been my best find in all those years. It's proximity to Main Street is perfect and the bonuses are underground parking and a fireplace, amenities not afforded to me in the "expensive" houses I used to rent.
And that's just the unit which is upgraded with tile and granite but as for the owners they whereas us available and extremely helpful, I truly felt like a guest in thier house. Film buffs, skiers or foodies this is the best deal in town!!!Response from Karen DeRose Porter - 01/24/2012

We just returned from a week's vacation in Park City and,despite the lack of fresh snow, had a great time. We have stayed at Park Station condos for years but none as lovely as this. It is a beautifully decorated and cozy place to stay with all of the conveniences of home. Karen, the owner, is incredibly easy to work with and very quick to address any concerns. It is a great layout for families and adult groups alike and is conveniently located, less than a 5 minute walk into town and on the bus line to the mountain. We have found a new "home away from home" and will definitely be returning year after year.

Great location and great place to stay. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed, including pots, pans, and some spices. We rented a car which was really nice since we cooked a lot: we made several trips to the grocery store which was less than 5 minutes away. Karen (condo owner) is so easy to work with and she made our stay effortless. We will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Karen was very helpful in the planning of our trip and during our stay. We also loved the location at the beginning of Main Street, and there was a trail we could walk on to the park. We did not ski since we visited in October, but the condo was very close to the town lift.

My husband and I and our two older children stayed for one night in this truly delightful condominium. We found it tastefully decorated, very clean, upscale and quite inviting.
The kitchen was clean and well equipped, and we enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace immensely. The condominium had been priced competitively and parking was very convenient. We found the landlord, Karen, easy to work with as she helped make the arrangements with only a couple of days' notice.
The location was especially good, only a block from the southern end of the main street in Park City. We walked to our restaurant and could see that in the winter, it would only be a short walk to the Park City Mountain Resort lift.

This was a perfect rental for our family -- easy access on the first floor and a block from downtown, you're right next to High West Distillery, Easy Street, etc. For the kids there is an easy walking trail down to the park. It really is one of the best locations you could pick for a condo rental. Karen was super easy to work with, would definitely go again.

We had a great Spring Break vacation. Karen made everything a piece of cake with regard to check in, providing any info we requested and providing prompt responses to all our inquiries and emails. We thoroughly enjoyed this condo and the location could not have been better! It was very comfortable, roomy and really felt like "home." Being able to step outside the back door and walk right into town was fantastic! We rarely needed our car! The Town Lift is just a block away as well - another huge plus! Very clean and quiet. Only a 3-5 minute walk to the town lift. I've parked in ski resort parking lots and had a longer walk to the lifts. Main St. with all the restaurants, shops and pubs is less that a block away. Condo has all the required amenities including a TV (HD as I remember) in every room. Number coded locks means no keys to remember or misplace. I've stayed many times in Vail, Durango, Breckenridge, down town aspen and this condo is as good or better than any that I've stayed in. I highly recommend this condo

Having lived in Utah and vacationed there numerous times since leaving, I have stayed at many places and This Is One Of The Best Ever... First and definetly not the last time we will stay at Karen's condo. You cannot beat the two minute walk to lifts, dining and Main Street. Karen was a pleasure to work with and the condo was spotless with everything needed to enjoy our stay. Heated outdoor pool and giant hot tub were an added bonus we used every night after skiing...

The condo has a great location just a block from the town lift for skiing at Park City. It's also at the south end of Main Street for easy access to the restaurants and shops of Park City.
We weren't lookin for anything fancy, but wanted something clean and convenient. This definitely fit the bill. -

One of the main features we chose this rental was that it is close, really close to the Town Lift in Park City. As a corner unit it was also very quiet. I timed it one day and it took only three minutes to walk to the Town Left in my ski boots. All Main Street restaurants are an easy walk as well. We found the unit spotlessly clean, well equipped, quite comfortable. Cooking in about half the nights of our trip was easy. I'd recommend it whole heartedly.

A great location, one block from town ski lift and a few blocks from the heart of Park City, restaurants and stores. The condo has been newly remodelled. Bathrooms granite with new lighting and fixtures. Beds comfortable and rooms stylish.
The kitchen is organized and well stocked. I had no problem cooking. Living room , fireplace very cozy and comfortable. -

After 10 years sking in Colorado we decided to change our venue to Park City, Ut. As 1st time visitors and skiers to Park City, UT, we had all of the concerns everyone faces from Internet scams and disinterested booking agents to sub-par accomodations and misleading advertising. Well were we surprised. As advertised, Park Station was a five minute walk from the Town Lift and downtown Park City and literally across the street from free bus transportation to all 3 mountain resorts. Our condo was updated and beautiful and the booking and check-in process was seamless. It was the " human touch " owner Karen Porter provided however which was most impressive. She helped us arrange airport transfers, ski equipment rentals, lift tickets and made the ski experience one of our best ever. We have already booked our 2011 ski vacation with her. It really is as good as it gets!

Karen deRose was very easygoing and nice to deal with when making the reservation. She was very concerned with our comfort and making sure we would have everything we needed. The condo is in a great location and it has a very nice hot tub attached. My friends and I had a great time!
