The reservation process was easy and professional.

Thank you for taking time to review your recent stay at Edelweiss U6. We sincerely apologize for the maintenance issues you encountered. The television service at this property is provided by COMCAST. In the middle of March they announced that they were upgrading their service and that all televisions needed a new receiver in order to get a signal. Everyone in our area had to scramble to pick up the new boxes and the local provider actually ran out for a few days. We were able to ensure that at least one TV was working in every property and can now report that every TV in our rental properties have been upgraded to the new service. The refrigerator and the leaking faucet have been repaired.
Again, we are very sorry that these problems occurred during your stay and can assure you that they have been addressed and resolved.

The condo was clean, well equipt and in a great location. The only problem was the water pressure was terrible - just trinkled out of the faucet and the there wasn't any hot water - it was luke warm at best. We loved being within walking distance to town and to the Mountain.

Park City Lodging, Inc. sincerely apologizes to you for the lack of hot water and water pressure you experienced while our guest. We assure you that this is not a common complaint at Edelweiss Haus. The entire complex is served by a boiler system that not only heats the water but provides heat to each condominium. The system has been tested and it is currently working properly. We do hope that you will return as our guest in the very near future!

1. Staff was helpful.
2. Overpriced for conditions:
a. Inadequate furniture for sitting and
no lamps for reading.
b. Broken window latches in bedroom
outside. Cold drafts blew in the whole
time we were there and maintenance
made no effort to fix.
c. Painted cinder block wall interior
belies advertising.
d. No convenient location to place our
trash and no cleaning service was
available.
e. Pilot light in fireplace continually
went out. No instructions on relight
procedure, no matches in unit, no one
on duty in the evening.
f. Promotional info on web indicated unit
was close to Main Street shopping.
This is a fib as it is a long walk to
Main Street shops from the unit.
g. Promotional photos on web don't show
current exterior conditions. Peeling
paint, trim falling off, rusting
stairway supports and railing.
Very embarrassing when my guests
arrived and looked around.
I could go on and on but you get the idea.
I will not use this service to book accomodations on future trips to Park City. This accomodation is about a $75.00 per night unit and should be listed as "budget".

Thank you for the feedback and we are very sorry for any inconvenience. We were happy to bring "loaner" lamps for your stay - each owner decorates their own property and we had not had any previous comment about needing more lamps, but we have recommended this to the property owner. As for the location, our website describes it as "on free town shuttle route connecting to Main Street shopping and restaurants" which is the case: the shuttle stops right outside the Edelweiss building and Main St. is 5-10 min. away. We do not say that it is right at Main St. by any means. It can be walked but most people prefer to ride the free shuttle. The exterior of Edelweiss is receiving a major upgrade this summer. Thank you.
