This is a large, beautiful home, well equipped but not well maintained by the owner. For example, the ice maker in the refrigerator did not work, several of the crank mechanisms in the windows were broken and the windows leaked air, the pedestrian door into the garage would not close without lifting up on the door knob, there is no heat in the bunk room which wound up being very cold, the rug in the master bath was tattered along one edge, the commode in the master bath only worked if you held down the handle thru the flush cycle.
The hot tub was great, the views spectacular and there was plenty of room for an extended family of 12. -

The house was very nice with a beautiful view. But the downside was the house just wasn't maintained very well. We had 15 people stay and used every room and bathroom. The downstairs shower would only run scorching hot water. We had to take a sponge shower. Carpet on stairs was stained. Bbq Grill was too dirty to use. Outside chair and dining room chair were broken. The kitchen needed a broom. We wished it had air Conditioning. It was very hot! Garbage left in the Garage and it smelled bad.
Would I stay there again? Yes. Just wish it was maintained. -

Four families and kids (18 in all)stayed in this home with no sense of crowdedness at all. The first floor area with pool table was completely soundproofed from the rest of the house. We could not tell from the main floor whether or not anyone was playing pool or watching tv downstairs. This is a good thing for the parents! Furniture, beds, applicances were clean. The dishwasher leaked on the first day, and response was immediate. A new dishwasher was installed within hours. The hot tub was in excellent working condition. Only minor complaint is that we could probably have used a second refrigerator for the size of the house.

With the exception of not enough pressure in some of the showers and some slow flushing toilets, including the master, and a shower leaking into the second bedroom of the main floor, the experience was wonderful! The house accomidated all 15 very well. If the owners had made a bar in front of the kitchen with bar stools it would make it easier for kids to have their meals and then adults could use the dining room table.

Thanks for your feedback especially regarding the showers. We will look at the showerheads and see if they need to be replaced.
This particular home has toliets that are designed to conserve water and do take a little longer to flush.
The shower leak has been fixed. -

We used this beautiful rental property for my various "out of town" family members to use in order to get us all together in one house instead of multiple hotels or hotel rooms. I really feel the price charged was a fair rate for what we got and would love to rent this property again in the winter but, the cost then becomes prohibative!!! Funny because there is nothing additionally provided in the winter so, the home owner's cost isn't increased in any way so why should mine???

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Iron Mountain. The difference from summer and winter is the nearly 500 inches of Utah's famous powder :)

My phone contact prior to arrival was very helpful and informed. Although somewhat minor, we had a few issues when we arrived.
The keypad locking the front door was not reset. So even thought we were told the unit was "ready", we couldn't access the property.
Again...a minor issue. We had a response within a half hour.
The house, etc was exactly as described..that's important when you need you have a group of ten guys who want their own bed...
Only other issue was a hot tub that was out of service for the last two days of our trip.
When you ski only 4 to 5 days a season...a hot tub is a well needed item. I'd suggest the owner/rental agent pay a bit more attention to that.
Otherwise, my "hat off" to the owner/rental agent for a beautiful house and a good job.
