Welcome to Morning-Glory Cottage!
Close to Rathtrevor Beach Park this two bedroom with a loft, two bath, 1100 sq ft cottage has all that you need for short or long stays - in our wonderful summers or mild winters. Relax by the warm fireplace, explore the Oceanside area and play on the sunny beaches, this vacation rental provides comfort, convenience and accessibility to all the area has to offer.

The complex sports a pool, hot tub, exercise room directly across from the cottage and Rathtrevor beach is a short 10 minute walk away. For beach days, we supply beach chairs, towels and sand castle building equipment. Adjacent to the complex is Riptide Lagoon Miniature Golf and bumper cars where the kids and young at heart can spend many enjoyable hours. You're just minutes from the centrally-located Parksville Community Park, loaded with activities for all ages and it's expansive beach. A varied mix of shops, cafes, grocery and specialty stores make up the Parksville shopping district just minutes away. There are 7 golf courses within a half hour drive. After a day of walking, hiking, swimming, biking, golfing or shopping, indulge yourself at the Tranquil Moments Day Spa & Salon on site, or sit back and relax with a cup of imported green tea or freshly made sushi or baked goods from Sakura Cafe. For dining purposes, we have other fine restaurants within a short drive of your cottage.

Morning Glory Cottage is part of a resort development which is set back from the resorts located along Rathtrevor Beach. This means you'll walk about 10 minutes, cutting through one of the other resorts, to reach the beach. However, by staying a little further from the beach you'll get a newer, bigger, and better-priced place to stay.
At $125 a night, this cottage is quite a deal outside of the summer high season. Even at the full summer price, I'd still say it was priced fairly.
When you drive up, the resort itself is not too inspiring - rows of cottages close together. There's not much space or privacy for outdoor living (Bbq's etc) on the deck. But inside, the cottage is exceptionally well-furnished and spacious. We felt at home right away. If you stay at Morning Glory Cottage, you'll enjoy a clean, quiet and comfortable place to relax after sightseeing in the area or visiting the beach.
