Edmonton, CanadaGreat family accommodation
Left on 08/15/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We stayed here in august 2012. Cottage had everything we needed. It was very clean and well-appointed and in a quiet location. We had rented the Dogwood style cabin and were expecting a loft with a sofa bed. Instead we got a loft with 2 twin beds - even better. Cottage is a 5 minute drive to downtown Parksville and even less to Rathtrevor Beach. Our unit did not have air conditioning, so loft was very warm at night. But area was experiencing hotter than normal temperatures.

EdmontonA Beautiful Place to Stay, Close to the Ocean
Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Our family stayed here in July of 2012. It was a wonderful holiday for our family. We compared this property to Beach acres (across the street) as we had family staying there at the same time. When they got for the same money, we were shocked.
I can't believe what a value this was. First of all, it was beautifully decorated and modern. The beds! - Ahhh... it is a beautiful thing to have a comfortable bed while on holidays! It has a dishwasher!! (the ones we saw at Beach acres didn't), it has a wonderful washer/ dryer set (Beach acres has a coin laundry facility for all the units), and the few extra steps away from the ocean was inconsequential to us.
The pool and hot tub were really fun, our kids went everyday. It was a very nice facility.
The only thing I would mention is to bring your own soap, toilet paper and paper towels. There were some paper supplies there, but only what was on the rolls and there was no hand soap or bath soap. It's fine, most people probably already bring their own, but it's good to know in advance.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending this property and it would be wonderful to have the opportunity to stay there again! -

Solihull UKFantastic stay - best part of the vacation
Left on 06/23/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Home from home accommodation, fully equipped with all the comforts of home (inc xbox). The photos don't do the accommodation justice, the location is great, but while near a main road, you don't notice the noise in the property or outside on the patio; and wow, LCD screens in all the bedrooms. Cleanliness and quality of the accommodation is exceptional and the accommodation is actually larger than what the photos show. You would be a fool not to book this place as you're not far from all the local attractions, but would suggest a visit to the tourist info place nearby on what to do. We walked through the woods to the local beach nearby which was nice. We even tried the onsite Crazy golf, which was fun too (2 courses to choose). After our 4 day stop we didn't want to leave, but this was a great way to start our 3 week vacation to Canada and america.

VictoriaAmazing family time!!
Left on 03/24/2011 for a stay in March 2011
This cottage was amazing. it was a home away from home. It had everything we needed and more. We were a family of four kids and had tons of activity's for them. The swimming pool was seconds away... a heavenly place for a rainy day. As we know in March.. some days will be rainy. It was so nice to know we have things for the kids to do. The cottage owners ensured we had everything we needed and were well looked after. We will be back soon! Thank you...Erin and Family

Victoria, B.C.Relaxing "Get away"
Left on 01/04/2011 for a stay in December 2009
I had the pleasure of staying at Kathy and Dwights cozy cottage with my husband, 3 year old son and 6 month old daughter. It was truly relaxing and a perfect spot to unwind and spend quality family time. We spent time both at the cottage and on the grounds- with the shops and gorgeous pool. We found ourselves taking numerous adventures and beautiful nature walks just steps from the cottage. The cottage itself was immaculate, nicely decorated and had everything in it to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It is less than 5 minute drive to all amenities and in a super location for all seasonal activities. If you are looking for a home away from home-this is an excellent choice.

St. AlbertAll the Comforts of Home and More
Left on 12/04/2010 for a stay in January 2010
We stayed at this cozy cottage for three months and will be going back for two more months in 2011. The place is perfect, we love the fact that it is in a quiet lovely location and we are only a few minutes from Ocean, where we love to go for long walks with our doggie. Dwight and Kathy do a great job of providing all the guests with the comforts of home and everything is handled in a very well organized and professional manner. With all the TVs and Electronics the cottage has to offer it is easy to find an area where you can hang out in privacy. Nanaimo is only 30 minutes away, in case you are in need of some retail theropy or a good movie. However, the towns of Parksville and Quaulicum Beach have many good restaurants and other activities to participate in. We know anyone who rents this great cottage will be delighted!
