The first time i visited Makria Miti i was dumbfounded by the sheer natural beauty of the place and the artful and loving way in which the owners have blended the buildings into the Cycladic surroundings... The house itself is beautiful, light and welcoming, and one in which we could live in all year 'round since it has every convenience imaginable (...even heated floors!) without a trace of the technologically overbearing that we city dwellers are so used to ... During our first stay we hardly ever wanted to leave the house, all we needed was just there!which was particularly handy given that our little girl was only 15 months old and too much toing nad froing was out of the question! Beyond the pool, there is also a lovely, quiet little beach just nearby, and the divine service in the house itself made us want to just stay put ! Kyriakos the Chef ... wonderous, and Vera the housekeeper discreet and efficient! There are few things to do in the immediate vicinity...other than eat amazing Greek food ! but the island of Paros has a whole lot of things to offer, great beaches, water sports, especially wind and kite surfing, good night life ...
We consider ourselves very lucky to have been able to stay here and hope to come back over and over again ! Thank you all for making our holiday memorable! -

Our time on Paros was delightful, made all the more special by our stay at this beautiful villa. The house is open and airy and is decorated in an impeccable style. There are many comfortable places to sit and relax both inside and outside. The staff maintained the house perfectly--it was spotlessly clean with crisp linens and thoughtful touches, such as fresh flowers, throughout. The gardens surrounding the property are beautiful, and many of the herbs and vegetables used in our meals were grown on-site. Our chef, Yani, prepared delicious meals using locally grown produce and meats. Our meals were so tasty, we ate all of our dinners at the villa--we didn't want to miss a single one! Yani also made sure our every need was met and gave us excellent advice on the best beaches and outings on the island. Yani went out of his way to make sure we felt at home, and his warmth helped make our stay an exceptional and memorable experience. Many thanks to Yani and all the staff for taking such wonderful care of us!

An idyllic location for one of our best holidays ever. We were warmly welcomed and no effort was spared to make us feel special. The accommodation was superb and very tastefully decorated, the levels of comfort and luxury unsurpassed, and the food prepared using home-grown local produce by our chef Kyriakos delicious. The island of Paros is beautiful, with superb beaches, clear waters, excellent snorkelling and swimming, and picturesque villages with lovely local tavernas and shops. The islanders are warm and friendly and the entire experience refreshingly un-touristy. Having travelled extensively we can honestly say that this is as close to a perfect holiday as we could ever hope for, and our warmest thanks to the owners and staff for a wonderful experience.

It is rare to find in a holiday house all the great qualities one looks for his own home. The villa is spacious, with welcoming rooms and impecable traditional style throughout. A peaceful atmosphere with amazing sea views from every single window and terace. All this, coupled with friendly service made our holiday a real treat. We will certainly be coming back.
