Bluemoon Hideaway was just like the pictures. Clean & Neat, No Suprises. Great view of vinyards from the deck. Owner had some bread and muffins waiting for us. Owners very approachable and discrete. They were available when we needed them, but gave us our privacy.
Spent a week there. Played golf and visited the coast. Shared some wine & played golf with the owners. -

Couldn't ask for more. Kristie and Rich made our stay very comfortable, We were welcomed with a basket of fresh pastries and precise instructions on heater/AC and TV/DVD remote controls. Very clean and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Wild deer roaming about.

Great value for money. Perfect for a couple or a friends' getaway, especially if you are staying 3 nights or longer. The small kitchen with all utensils helps both to save money (dining out in Paso is expensive) and relax in a quiet place. Having breakfast on the deck overlooking golden hills was a daily delight. The house is within an easy driving distance from both Paso and the local wineries. Everything is very clean and looks very well-maintained. The only small issue was the wireless Internet access: it worked well in the mornings but tended to come and go in the afternoons. Overall, we were very happy with our choice.

My partner and I stayed at Bluemoon hideaway in august 2012. Blue moon is tucked away up high on the outskirts of Pasos Robles with absolutely stunning views over the countryside. The room was very big and comfortable with separate area for the bed close to the large well decorated shower room. The sitting area was also large and comfortable. There is a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave. The outside BBQ made up for no oven and we loved having our bbqs out on the very large terrace area. The owners were really lovely friendly people who left you to do your own thing but were available if you had any questions. If you want to get away for some real chill time this is perfect. We loved it and the views really are fantastic. It can get really hot out there as we found but about 30 miles away at the beach it was much cooler.

Santa MonicaA fantastic weekend away!
Left on 09/12/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My girlfriend and I enjoyed one night here at this quaint studio in Paso. It had everything and more than what we were expecting. We really enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle, traffic, and lights. It was so peaceful and relaxing here. At night, stepping out onto the porch and seeing the sky lit up with stars was unforgettable!!! This will be our "go to" place whenever we visit from now on. Kristie is awesome and gave detailed instructions. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

We stayed only one night but I wish we had time to stay longer. It felt like a home away from home. We will totally stay there again if we find ourselves on Paso Robles!

Orange County, CAOur Favorite Place in Paso
Left on 04/16/2012 for a stay in November 2011
This is our favorite place to stay in Paso Robles! My Husband and I have stayed there several times now. Kristie couldn't be any sweeter and she always makes us feel at home. The studio is warm, cozy, and very welcoming. You feel like you're at home. The location is a little off the beaten path, but that's what we like! Plus it's close to our favorite winery (Pear Valley). The view of the vallies from the deck is beutiful to take in a nice sunset. Better than any hotel, they have a fridge, BBQ, hot plate, coffee pot, etc. They also leave delicious freshly baked, baked goods (bagels, cookies, muffins, etc.) for their guests. They try to leave coupons for wine tasting at various wineries, local magazines, and are always willing to give suggestions of what places to check out while you're in town. I'm almost hesitant to say how much we like Bluemoon, as we don't want to have trouble booking it on our next trip up!

Thank you so much for the kind words Mindy. I hope all went smoothly at your wedding last month. Now, maybe you can come and spend a couple of nights without the wedding planning appointments? Congrats on your wedding and hope to see you soon. Kristie

San DiegoPerfect quiet, quaint stay in beautiful wine country!
Left on 04/15/2012 for a stay in March 2012
We decided last minute to check out Paso wine country and stumbled upon this gem! Not only did we enjoy the local wineries (thanks to kristie's suggestions) but a nice, quiet stay in a very comfortable apartment which is well kept and clean. The balcony was perfect for our evening glass of wine and taking in the beautiful countryside views. Also loved the bakery goodies and having a fridge to keep stuff in. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back again soon and will be sharing this hidden gem with our friends and family when they visit.
