Long Beach, CAA Bargan Over a Hotel Room!!

We were visiting Paso Robles with my mil and weighed the value of two $100 plus hotel room over a 1,400 Square Foot, two bedroom apartment. The value was clearly with Upstairs on Vine!!
Part of the additional value was that the rental is close to town and there are no residents living below the unit. They are both businesses, so they are closed at night. All of the windows in the unit are double pane, so it is quiet. Though the traffic noise on Vine Street does bleed through in the mornings and evenings.
Otherwise, I would recommend this to families that are looking to forgo the hotel, separate rooms experience. -

Had a great stay at Upstairs on Vine in December. The two bedroom unit was spacious and very well decorated. The kitchen was set up very nicely, with everthing we needed for preparing meals (which we did 2 out of 3 nights.) The Bar-B-Q under the covered patio was nice to have. Doug, the owner has his business downstairs, but we didn't hear any noise during our stay. He even brought us a bottle of Paso wine- very nice! Thanks for the great stay!

The layout and furnishings at Upstairs on Vine were excellent. The unit is very spacious. The in town location was also very convenient.
I would recommend the property very highly especially for families with children. Or older travelers that appreciate a accommodation that is well decorated and has a home away from home feel.
The only caution is that the steps up to the unit are slippery when wet. -

My son's family and we (grandparents) were in Paso Robles for a wedding. Since we were babysitting part of the time, it made sense to all stay together. Two hotel rooms of comparable quality would have cost more than staying at Upstairs on Vine and we had so much more room and comfort.
Upstairs on Vine is only about two blocks from the town's center square (a park) which has nice stores and at least a dozen very nice restaurants. Great place to browse or have a drink / meal and there is a children's playground in the park. If you enjoy wine, there are well over 100 vineyards in the surrounding area. Within 8 blocks of your lodging are more than a dozen vineyard's storefronts. The countryside surrounding Paso Robles is beautiful and worth exploring.
The lodging was much better than expected. The interior is very nicely furnished/decorated and spacious. You have a complete kitchen and everything you need to cook your own meals. There is an upstairs covered porch that is also roomy and includes a BBQ. The beds are comfortable.
Paso Robles Vacation Rentals was professional and courteous and when an issue arose, I was pleasantly surprised with their immediate response. -

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Upstairs on Vine! It was pure true joy to walk in and find such a lovely getaway. No surprise, as our prior experience with Paso Robles Vacation Rentals has always been exemplary! We felt right at home and thought the location was wonderful for dining and convenient to wine tasting! We highly recommend this adorable place! We'll be back! Thank you so much!

This is the best vacation home we have stayed in and it is so close to downtown. It is nice to have 2 separate bathrooms for when you are vacationing with another couple. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful time in Paso Robles - and staying at Upstairs in Vine played so much a part of this. Fantastic sized rooms, extremely functional - particularly as we travelled with 2 young children - everything was spotless and the kitchen had everything that we needed - and more! Although we had an extremely busy time in Paso it was topped off by my husband and I, on our last night, sitting outside with a glass of wine overlooking Vine street. WIsh we lived a little closer - just perfect, as was all the assistance provided by Kathy! Thank you so much.

Upstairs on Vine was the perfect home away from home for me and my husband. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations and although we generally like to travel to new places, Paso Robles and this property are high on our list for a revisit. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable; the kitchen well furnished (including a good gas grill on the back porch); and supplies were provided for the full size washer/dryer. Paso has an excellent market, Scolari's, as well as an Albertson's just a short drive away. We stayed a week; but would have very been comfortable for an even longer stay.

Upstairs on Vine was not only perfect in it's location but in it's amenities as well. The Kitchen and gas grill were perfect for our gourmet dinner. The apartment is very beautifully appointed as well as very spacious! This is our second trip to Paso Robles, the first one was 2 months ago, and we're already planning our next. Thanks again!
