Description from the manager
The Serendipity House is snuggled in the wooded hillside of West Paso Robles just minutes to several wineries and less than a mile to downtown Paso Robles. Accomodations that can provide this level of seclusion are rare, but it's exactly what you get with
this rental. Serendipity begins when you enter the front iron gate and are greeted by 35 foot tall Birch trees and lush landscaping. One of the outstanding features is the panoramic views of the rolling hillside from the 600 sq. ft. deck; a great for spot
to relax with a glass of wine, dinner and cherished time with friends and family. The Serendipity House has a comfortable fami...Read more

TorranceThe perfect Paso turn-key home rental!
Left on 03/28/2013 for a stay in March 2013
My finance and I were planning a small wedding in Paso and in search of a home to accommodate, six of us. We've rented private homes on several occasions & unfortunately descriptions don't always match reality. However - in this case the reality is Serendipity is much better than it's description!
As "the bride" I was in search of the perfect location to meet all of our needs - Serendipity is just that! The home is located in the west part of town, it's actually quite secluded, private and quiet! It was a short drive to our favorite winery: Opolo (where we held the ceremony) and our two favorite restaurants: Roberts and Villa Creek.
In addition to the spacious and comfy interior of the home, there are 4 different areas to sit outside and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Even with 3 couples we each had our privacy.
Bedding is often an afterthought with home owners - except in this case. The beds, sheets and pillows are wonderful and quite comfortable.
The owner (Wayne) has taken every detail into account to ensure the time in his home is ideal. Wayne has provided just about everything you could want and/or need on a vacation.
Wayne was also very attentive & available to answer my last minute questions by phone and text immediately.
I can't list enough positive remarks about this property. It was an important weekend, a bit stressful, with so much to juggle. The one thing we didn't stress over was the house...so thank you Wayne for adding to our wedding weekend!!! -

The Serendipity house was amazing. A perfect location for our holiday getaway in the Paso Robles wine country. The rooms are all very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very well set up for visitors and we didn't experience any issues. The view from the back porch was the best part of the house. We found ourselves out on the deck admiring the view in the mornings and at night when we returned. The owner of the house Wayne was great and contacted us before and after the trip to ensure everything went ok. I would highly recommend staying at this house.

Long Beach, CaliforniaVery Comfortable Nicely appointed House
Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in December 2012
I have become very fond of staying at private residences vs. hotels over the past couple of years. I try to get up to Paso at least once a year, but this was my second trip this year. We searched high and low for a vacation rental that would comfortably accomodate six adults. Due to the size of the Serendipity house and the number of bedrooms (3) we ultimately decided to stay there.
The property is in the hills of Paso, about one mile from downtown. This is a consideration for those who prefer to walk to dinner at night. I would have chosen to climb the hill back to the property however, others in my group decided it was too much and so we ultimately ended up driving.
The house is very nice inside. The kithen has all the cooking utensils necessary to whip up any meal. The living room is very comfortable, almost too comfortable. Had a very difficult time rousing the troops for dinner after wine tasting. The bedrooms are also very nice and fairly private.
The house has a very cozy feel to it, however it never felt cramped for the six of us. I would highly recommend staying here and I intend to book future stays here as well. -

You won't be sorry you came to Serendipity. It's a luxurious home away from home.
I can also say that the owner went the extra mile for us and made us feel like we weren't just faceless tourists.
Highly recommended!

I've stayed at Serendipity many times and will definitely continue staying there when in Paso.
The house is furnished in a warm and comfortable style - you feel at home regardless of what room you are in. The back patio has a spectacular view with large table and chairs for entertaining.
I highly recommend this house!

Orange County, CAWonderful place for cozy family/friends getaway
Left on 05/25/2012 for a stay in November 2011
We stayed at Serendipity over Thanksgiving and it was a wonderful memory - the home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood where deer wandered about freely. The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and comfortable appointments. The owner is wonderful and responsive. Paso Robles is the home of some of the best wines and it is a great place to tour vineyards, go to San Luis Obispo, Hearst Castle, Cambria, etc. from this spot and then feel as if you are coming "home" again at the end of the day!

Paso RoblesVery comfortable and private.
Left on 04/18/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Although my wife has concerns about allergies, we spent three nights and she had zero allergy symtoms. The mattresses were even more comfortable than our own bed at home. It is a very nice home in a very nice neighborhood. You can have your choice of a short walk into town, or a short walk into the country.

San Francisco, CAWonderful place to stay in Paso
Left on 04/15/2012 for a stay in April 2012
My family and I (three couples) had a lovely stay at Serendipity House. We loved its location on the edge of town. It's close enough to downtown to make it easy to go shopping or out to dinner, but it feels like you're out in the country. There are beautiful views of the surrounding hills and orchards from the deck, living room, and master bedroom. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities. Wayne, the owner, was great about communicating with me beforehand, including sharing his knowledge of local wineries. Overall a great place to stay!

Just a great place to stay, warm and comfortable. Beautiful view from the master bed. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable living room. Room to relax or entertain on the deck and in the yard. Don't forget to feed the humming birds and you will get quite a show. 1/4 C. sugar, 1 water.
