This luxury home had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend with 3 other couples. The grill, hot tub, dipping pool and spacious patio layout were truly ideal. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. There is a master bedroom with a huge closet and en suite bath. The two other bedrooms are smaller, but perfectly adequate with their owns baths. We also used the extra "guest house" that is attached to the other side of the garage and is like a mini-apartment (We did not use the room above the carriage house). Cell service was spotty, but there was a house phone for emergencies and I think the Wi-Fi worked fine. There is a locked gym on property and it would be wonderful for the owners to give guests access to a treadmill or something as you can't walk on the main road as there is no shoulder. I would have like a place to exercise. It was 15-20 minutes in to town where we attended a party. We wine tasted for two days along Vineyard Drive which was gorgeous (you do have to drive - no walking). Thatcher and Booker were favorites. We spent the rest of our time grilling, cooking and drinking wine on the patio.

If you are after an ellegant, spacious, beautiful, well appointed and well stocked property this is it. For those of us who are serious cooks there are plenty of tools and a fair amount of spices to work with. It really is only comfortable for 4 couples; there was no place for anyone else the way the house was configured for rent. Great patio and porches. Too cool to try the pool. The portable hot tub was comfortable to use but looks hokey with such an ellegant house. A couple of wineries in walking distance otherwise a bit remote. I'ld go back.
