San Francisco Bay AreaCute house, primo location for the annual wine fest
Left on 05/28/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Very nice two story house, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. This house is a perfect location for the annual wine fest in the park. Just a few blocks away, 10-15 minutes walk. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants too. We spent most of our time in the nice backyard. House is nicely updated, very clean, see pictures. Well equipped kitchen.
Minor complaints: 1) mattresses in the room with two twins are not comfortable, and the linens need an update. 2) The upstairs bathroom window needs blinds or curtains. Anytime it was open the neighbors can look right in. 3) backyard furniture was dirty, had to sit on towels.
Would definitely stay here again. -

St. Louis, MissouriA great getaway for family of six
Left on 03/07/2012 for a stay in December 2011
The house was attractively decorated and, though small, comfortable for five adults and one three year old. Located on a pleasant street within easy walking distance of the large tree-shaded central square with its playground. We spent a week there and enjoyed both the house and historic Paso Robles and surroundings. Well appointed kitchen, small garden, no washer dryer.

PhoenixThe best 30th anniversary.
Left on 03/02/2012 for a stay in November 2011
What a great time we had at Olive Gate. Felt just like home. The backyard is awesome. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved Olive Gate. The front porch was our evening place for a glass of wine and watch the sun set. It was only a few short blocks into the heart of town where we had dinner every night. We will definitely come back.

ChinoFun & relaxing 40th birthday with friends
Left on 06/16/2011 for a stay in April 2011
There was 6 of us who had a blast @ olive gate we loved the character of the house. This place has an amazing backyard where you can relax with a bottle of wine and look at the stars. My friends and I would definately recommend olive gate and the rental company. They even helped decorate the house for my friends 40th birthday. Can't wait to go back.

Los AngelesLovely historic house in downtown Paso
Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in May 2011
What a great experience! The house is on a smallish side but charming, its historic character fully preserved even with all modern conveniences. The size of the garden and the wonderful seating areas in the backyard fully make-up for the smallish living-room as you'd want to spend as much time as possible al fresco. 5 adults and a dog were as comfortable and happy with the arrangements as possible. Walking distance to the charming Paso downtown.

Left on 12/01/2009 for a stay in November 2009
We were very comfortable. The house is just a few blocks from downtown so we were able to walk to restaurants and shops. We brought 2 Welsh Corgis who loved the yard and front porch. We'd certainly recommend the house and the entire Paso Robles experience!

Sherman Oaks, CAWonderful stay
Left on 06/24/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We stayed in the Olive Gate House with another couple who have two kids (we have 1 -- the ages are 2-4). The house was big enough for our 2 families and very kid friendly (just gate up the stairs so the kids don't take a tumble). The location is great -- within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and a nice park. Great porch for an evening cocktail and terrific kitchen for an easy breakfast in. We had a great time. Thanks!

Bell Canyon, CaPerfect Home away from Home
Left on 05/27/2009 for a stay in May 2009
Our daughter was married in a beautiful vineyard, and we wanted a "home" for the family to be able to gather and relax over the weekend. We also wanted a grand central for day of beauty. The Olive Gate House was perfect for us in everyway. A charming home that was well appointed and very convenient. We highly recommend it.

Left on 12/03/2008 for a stay in November 2008
My family and I spent our Thanksgiving in Paso and we really enjoyed our stay at Olive Gate. It was very nice with upgrades that we don't even have in our own house, clean and cozy. It was great to be walking distance from town and so many great restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend this place and company to work with. Thanks for an easy nice stay!

Left on 08/19/2008 for a stay in August 2008
We went up to Paso Robles for a weekend of relaxation and wine tasting and it was wonderful. Staying at the Olive Gate really made the weekend because it was so nice to be able to relax in a such a beautiful and comfortable home. It was also so convenient to be able to walk into town for breakfast or some of the wineries, or just walk around. The house really is perfect and the beds are so comfortable!! We didn't want to leave!
