Wonderful 3 bedroom loft with fabulous balcony with a unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico. Walk to over 6 restaurants and the harbor in the beautiful downtown Pass Christian. Built in 2007 the Pelican Perch is a wonderful, quiet place to relax and enjoy the southern breezes. The unit is upstairs, an easy to climb, outdoor stairway in the rear of building. The bottom is vacant, allowing ultimate privacy.

Pass Christian is a lovely seaside town on the Gulf of Mexico. Great fishing off public piers. The town has had a total overhaul since Hurricane Katrina and their are lovely sidewalks and green spaces to enjoy. Located downtown within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

The balcony view of the Gulf is an amazing way to start your morning (with a cup of coffee of course!). You are literally 1 block from the beach which you can either walk to (we did in the evenings for a stroll along the beach) or drive to (which we did during the day when we had the chairs, cooler, towels, etc to take). There was plenty of room for our family of 4 with our 9yr old son getting the full bed with bath (the kids shared this bathroom) and our 6 yr old got the bedroom with the twin bed. There would have been room in this bedroom for an air mattress if needed for additional guests. The master was very comfortable. A couple of times the living room couches were used for afternoon naps after being at the beach all morning and they would be adequate for children to use as beds if traveling with additional guests. There was also plenty of room in the open living area for a couple extra air mattresses if needed. A small restaurant serving fresh seafood is only 1/2 block away and provided nightly music (not too loud to disturb the kids sleeping) for relaxing on the balcony with a cold beverage. The kids loved the Po'Boys served there. I think the best amenity would be the location, just a couple miles from busy Biloxi (shopping, dining and crowded beaches) this home is pure relaxation in a quiet neighborhood!

Our family recently took a "spur of the moment" vacation to Pass Christian and had to quickly find a place to stay. We were fortunate enough to find that this property just happened to have an availability and was also less expensive than most of the other properties that we checked. The property, Pelican Perch, looked great in the photos, but I kept my expectations in check as things are sometimes misrepresented on the internet. When we arrived, we were delighted by this place. The property had an ideal location, was walking distance to restaurants and shops and was beautiful and immaculate inside. There is no one occupying the bottom floor and it is not rented out, and the actual rental is the top floor, so you have the place to yourself. It is just a block from the ocean and has a clear view of the ocean. This place is really unique architecturally and has the most awesome balcony that goes all of the way around. We just couldn't have been more pleased and grateful to have found this. Additionally, Nanette (the owner) was one of the most pleasant and friendly people that I have ever dealt with. For anyone reading this review, I couldn't recommend this property highly enough...I don't think you could go wrong. If this sounds like a review that a property owner or management co. might "seed" their reviews with, it is just because we were so pleasantly surprised by this place and grateful to find it. Just a happy family from Edmond, Oklahoma.
P.S. We tried a little Irish pub just up the street. Very small, but the owner was very nice and the burgers we had were really, really good.
