This amazing structure has been custom designed and carefully built to the highest standard of living. As you step through the front door, your eyes are immediately drawn skyward to the clear bubble-dome skylight which makes you want to reach out and touch the heavens. Casa Cielo is located about 1.5 kilometers from the village of Pavones. A private and intimate property in a lush, gorgeous setting. Very close to a secluded beach. The sound of the surf will lull you to sleep at night. We have an on-site groundskeeper/watchman who lives in a separate little house. Watch Miguel as he feeds the beautiful Macaws by hand.
Casa Cielo is the experience of a lifetime. You will be thrilled with your stay and you'll want to come back again!

I spent a whole month at Casa Cielo with my girlfriend and my best friend. We had a lovely stay. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. We cooked our own meals on most days, made friends with some of the locals and discovered the magic of the deserted beaches . We much preferred to ride the bicycles provided by Paul than driving a car. It's a great way to discover the village and meet the locals. There's a yoga studio 10 minutes away from the house with a great teacher named amy. The house is perfect for a couple or a small family. I've been to Costa Rica multiple times before but this was my first time visiting Pavones. It's a very special and quiet town. Needless to say, the surfing is world class. I definitely recommend Casa Cielo and Pavones to anyone who wants to get away from their busy lives. It's a great little piece of paradise. I can't wait to go back!

Mason, MIHoneymoon Delight!

My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary in Costa Rica (calling it our Honeymoon) and had a great time staying at Casa Cielo. The home was just as depicted- very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for the week. The washer and dryer came in handy too! We especially enjoyed the use of two bikes, which we used daily to bike into town or to the beach. Pavones is a great little town, and everyone there, from the local "Ticos" to the american expats, were friendly, fun and welcoming. There is lots to do in the area, and Casa Cielo was the perfect home base. Carolina and her husband Les were able to help us out with what to do and where to go once we were there, and we appreciated having the caretaker Miguel on the premises. Big thanks to home owner Paul, who went out of his way to answer our questions before we left to ensure that we knew everything we needed and that we would have a great stay. We arrived on Christmas Day and Paul and Carolina ensured that we knew where we were going and that we were able to get food and dinner on the holiday evening. We would stay at Casa Cielo again in a heartbeat!

I had the opportunity to go to Casa Cielo with a few friends in 2009 and it was absolutely amazing! It is in the most awesome location - you can hear the waves crashing and get lost in the lush landscaping. The house is just a couple of minutes from town and is perfectly situated. We went down for some fishing, but already are planning a trip in the spring to do some surfing. We'll definitely be staying here again!

My wife and I stayed here for a Valentine's getaway. Had a simply magical time. It is just so beautiful. Macaw's, Toucan's, squirrel monkeys to name a few of the stunning wildlife we saw while we were there. And then had a fabulous dinner 4 stories up overlooking the moonlit beach at a stunning restaurant called El Castillo. In the middle of nowhere. Don't know how they do it. Also went to a Blues Festival about an hour up the coast in Zancudo. Watched the surfers and the sunset behind the Pacific. I could go on and on. House is delightful with a unique charm, gorgeously landscaped and meticulously maintained by a wonderful local man named Miquel (bring your Spanish dictionary!). This destination really had everything - peace and quiet, tropical flora and fauna, great restaurants and even international mingling at the local cantina (Pavones draws surfers from around the world). Highest recommendation!!!
