The townhouse was very comfortable and we loved the fact that you are literally just a minute's walk from the privately-accessed beach. The kitchen was well-stocked with tools, pots, pans, and utensils, and that was really helpful when cooking a variety of meals for six people. The unit had all necessary items a family could think of, including baby items (even though we did not use them). We were a little surprised upon arrival that it was a two-floor unit with a steep staircase...not a unit that should be rented by anyone who has a hard time climbing stairs. It would have been nice to have a laundry room within the townhouse (or at least one that didn't cost money available), but that was only of minor concern. The property is managed well, and security is always around and available, leaving renters to feel very safe. The pool is nice, the entire area is clean, and it is a quiet place that is very welcoming. Having restaurants/shopping within five minutes was very nice, and if more variety is desired, it is just about 10-15 minutes to Murrell's Inlet, where the variety is greater. This was our first time renting a property on Pawley's Island, and we thoroughly enjoyed it...we will definitely be returning!
