First off, Dunes Realty was super easy to work with. Upon entering the condo I immediately picked up my 1 year old off of the floor and thought "ICK!!!" The condo was filthy! There was long black hairs everywhere! Countertops, showers, walls, we even found hairs in the coffee pot filter basket! So after I went over every surface with a Clorox wipe, swept and mopped the floor, I felt better. If the maid service did such a terrible job the first time around why would I have them come back? The furnishings in the condo were very outdated, there was no remote to the TV, everytime you sat on the couch or loveseat the cushions would slide right out from under you. I was sore for a week after we returned home all from "trying" to sit on the furniture there. The high chair that the condo so absurdley advertised as being provided was so old it belonged in a museum. The aC system only cooled the living room/ dining area and the two bedrooms were so hot at night you couldnt sleep. The sliding doors on both showers would get stuck and not open all the way .I couldnt even give my infant daughter a bath. The kitchen was anything but "equipped". The stove was right out of the 70's and burned everything we put in the oven. Again, The realty company was at our door with 10 minutes and did the best they could for us. Changing out the high chair, bringing us a remote, having the aC checked out. But they couldnt do anything about the furniture, stove, showers, etc. The pool to the community was very far from our condo. The water was a strange color the entire two weeks we were there. There was no chlorine in it! It was like dirty lake water. We went to our neighboring communitys pool bc I wouldn't let my kids swim in the Heron Marsh pool. Yuck! One (and maybe only one) good thing is that this condo was situated very close to the beach. A very short walk. And trust me this was good bc we all wanted to be anywhere else but inside this condo!
