Our unit was very nicely updated, and very clean. The owner had done an amazing job with stocking up on simple household items that you often need when away from home. That was a nice personal touch that was appreciated. The complex itself is nice and well kept and with the gated entrance felt it to be a very safe place for the family. The entire area is beautiful at Litchfield By The Sea. The one complaint I have is that when we entered our unit, all the dirty towels and linens from the last guest were piled up in our kitchen floor. I can't imagine this is standard practice, so I assume the cleaning staff just left these behind by mistake. We waited for a bit thinking they may come back to collect them, but did not so we finally put them outside the door, and they were later picked up.
