Beautiful oceanfront home at the north end of Pawleys Island. Home is a perfect setting for a memorable Pawleys Island vacation. Features oceanside screened porch, front and back open porches/deck, cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, Jenn-aire stove, Corian countertops, wireless internet, plasma tv, ceiling fans, 2 cable TV's with VCR, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, central H/VAC, icemaker, and private walkway to ocean.
Main floor has 3 bedrooms w/queen beds.
Upstairs has den and 2 bedrooms with 1 queen and 2 twins.

Great home on the Island...fantastic view of beach and access. Very quiet and relaxing...The only recommendations would be add a nicer / larger grill as we love to stay in and relax some nights- grill steaks, burgers, etc. The outdoor grill at the home is not adequate.
Would love to return and stay again next September! -

We received great service, and the owners thoughtfully brought a delicious cake for us to enjoy. We love the home, especially the downstairs living area and bedrooms. We would never rent a cottage that was not situatated on the ocean, as Johnson's Nest is, so the location was ideal.

It is a beautiful beach house that offers a wonderful ocean view and the
location is convenient to all parts of the island and the main land. The
house is well maintained and beautifully decorated. This was the second
time we rented Johnson's Nest 276B and we look forward to staying there
again.
The Lachicotte Company personnel is helpful and friendly to work with. -

The home is lovely BUT - it took a couple of hours to get a couple of tweeks out! First, both remotes in the living room had to have new batteries. The master bedroom door to the deck couldn't be locked back after I opened it. The owners son came and he couldn't get it to lock either. Mr. Johnson called and said that you have to push up as you push in to close the door and lock it. You may want to put that in writing for the next guest. The picture on tv in mster bedroom is VERY fuzzy. Also, you need the control to that tv to regulate the volumn and it wasn't there. Guest bath down stairs sounded like a tug boat horn when you flushed it but my brother came by on the second day and cleaned out the seal in the tank for me. Air was getting in. The public walkway next to the house didn't bother me too much. There was a little construction going on next door but that couldn't be helped. The home is very well equipped - didn't need a thing. I think it is really nice. I enjoyed my stay after the first day!!!!

The house served as a wonderful gathering place for our immediate family that was in town for our sons wedding. It felt like home to all of us. It had all the things we neede for this family place. Thanks for allowing us the chance to have a "home place" not a plain sterile utilitarian spot to gather.
