It was harder to be farther from the rest of family houses, but the house was excellent and well equipped. The views were fantastic, especially the birds. One thing I will look for in the future is a powder room you don't have to go through the bedroom to reach.

Great home with two wonderfully relaxing porches! We had a full house - 12 - the house was very roomy and open. The kitchen was so well equipped with plenty of room - could use a set of blinds over the sink for the afternoon sunsets - but the view was beautiful - I didn't mind doing dishes!

This is a good house for a good beach trip. The dock is great for fishing and crabbing. It's away from the hustle of the "grand strand" but close to very good restaurants and seafood markets. It is very clean and the bed is so comfy. There was new construction going on right next door that I wish we had known about. It's a bummer being up at 8am on vacation..my advice..ask the right questions before renting!

Easy rental procedure via internet...answered my questions promptly...quick easy check-in...we were celebrating our 50th anniversary with our 3 grown kids and spouses and 5 grandchildren...the house is very well stocked with essentials, location on the canal is great...being the end of the year, the house could use a good spring cleaning but overall was pretty clean...loved the hammocks and the ping pong table...would liked to have been able to use golf cart in lower level...steps from back porch to yard and bedrooms on lower level was awkward...need instructions for Tv's and password for internet...could use better garbage cans...a dog/raccoon kept getting into our cans every night.
I would recommend this rental to my friends and would recommend Litchfield Real Estate as a friendly professional company to deal with...thank you owners and company for a wonderful visit.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House. It has been renovated and is an attractive and comfortable living space. We had excellent service from the Litchfield Real Estate staff. We plan to stay here again next year. It helps to rent a golf cart for traveling to the beach, but the bridge across the marsh creek is close by too.
