Located at the gated beachfront community, Litchfield By the Sea, in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, it's just 20 miles south of the bright lights of Myrtle Beach. At the Pink House relax on the rooftop captain's deck, or on the two porches overlooking the Rookery community pool and lake. The beautiful beach is only a short 2 minute walk away. During the day, enjoy all that the community has to offer including tennis, bike trails, fishing, crabbing, and long days at the beach. The Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Island area has long been known as the perfect family vacation spot along the South Carolina coast. The locale is rich in natural beauty and history. There is no commercialism on the ocean front, but there are many beach vacation activities close by, such as Pawleys Island golf courses and other Litchfield Beach activities. Come dig your toes into the white sand of our wide beaches, which our guests tell us over and over are among the prettiest in the world (the beaches, not your toes).
The Rookery community features seaborne breezes and splendid water views of the ocean and a 28-acre saltwater lake brimming with flounder, bass, and blue crabs. Plus, you have access to the Rookery/Pelican Watch community swimming pool, community tennis courts, and bike and jogging trails. This homesite offers covered parking and panoramic views from captain's decks. Short walk to the beach.

My husband and I stayed at the Pink House for a week long honeymoon in October 2008. It was abeautiful time of year, the weather was varied between warm and slightly cool, but not cold. We were thrilled with the location, between a short stroll to the beach and a short drive to the grocery store and attractions in Myrtle Beach it was perfect. The community was clean, safe, and quiet. The Pink House is impressive on the outside, and on the inside it is beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. The bedrooms are all very spacious, with nice adjoining bathrooms. The master suite was spectacular! The pool looked beautiful also.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Pink House, and are looking forward to returning.
