Roanoke VANot Bad...
Left on 09/22/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We chose this property because it was oceanfront and didn't seem overly priced. Its an older property with lots of wood. Hardwood floors throughout, wooden beamed ceilings, wooden staircase and bookcases. Different from other houses we have rented. It was a bit dusty and could have used some sweeping up...which we did ourself...rather than call the office. It could use warming up with some area rugs and nicer living room furniture...but overall this was not a bad place. The front and back screened porches were great!! The kitchen was spacious enough and clean. There are 3 bathrooms, with the one upstairs connected between 2 bedrooms as well is the one on the main level, is connected between rooms. The lower 2 bedrooms and bath are rather nice and look like they may have been updated at some point. We knew this wouldn't be the nicest house we have ever rented, but we came to really like this place and are considering it again in the future.
