I am from Mathews County , the fine state of Virginia , you can fish , crab , and a short walk to the beach to lounge around and swim . This place reminds me so much of home except for the aligators and you can swim until Thanksgiving with no stingnettles.

We stayed at Idyll Daze with my wife's family. It worked out well - very convenient for fishing in the creek and a short, but leisurely, walk to the beach. This house is not "the ritz" but it does have all of the basics that we needed. For the price, it is an excellent deal and we hope to come back.

We enjoyed staying at Litchfield Beach. The Idyll Daze was very nice and comfortable and met all our beach needs. It was very convenient for shopping and touring. The beach was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this area for a fun family vacation.

I found it dirty,looks like the outside windows were not cleaned all year,trash behind the couch that could be seen from back porch,,bathrooms were not clean,,i did wash down the bathrooms,need to update kitchen cookware,,very bad shape
