We rent this house for a week every year. It has everything we need and is a truly comfortable place to stay. Beach Nuts is not one of those over done beach houses that make you feel as though you need to tiptoe so that you don't break anything. At Beach Nuts you can relax and enjoy yourself. The back screened porch is fabulous. You can sit in a rocking chair, feel the breeze and listen to the ocean. We were on the porch every night after dinner. We found only one negative in the whole experience; we can't afford to stay two weeks!

We have rented houses in North Litchfield since the mid 1970s and our extended family ranging in age from 21 to 85 has determined that Beach Nuts is the perfect beach retreat. All facilities and amenities were as described and in good working order and the linens supplied for bed and bath were of good quality. There was ample hot water and water pressure, the large kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the magnificent screened porch with ocean view could accommodate a crowd. The beach front location in North Litchfield is ideal for young and old alike. The only negative we identified is that it appears that some exterior maintenance in the porch and deck area is due. The Dieter Company representatives were easy to work with during the rental process, at check in and during our stay.

We had a wonderful time. Accommodations were great! We've been doing this women's weekend for six years and have never seen a better equipped kitchen. The proximity to beach was awesome. Screened porch and decks were great.
Would definitely come back. -

We were a group of 9 women (usually there is more) who come to North Litchfield on an annual winter or early spring beach trip. Beach Nuts was perfect for us. We loved the decor of the beach house. It was like each piece has been chosen with love and for a reason. The house was so well-equipped that we did not have to purchase anything extra. We did not find the games in the drawer until the last day. Even though it was fairly cold through our stay except for Thursday, we stayed on the deck or the screened porch. The view was spectacular and we were fortunate enough to see dolphins on two occassions. We all are horse-owners and are a part of a show barn in Travelers Rest, SC. We are also a mixed bag of ages, but no one younger than 23. There were three (3) our our group who could not make it this year, but hopefully in 2010. We are excited to return and be able to share Beach Nuts with them then.
It was a possibility we were not going to be able to come this due to the turbulent economic times, but the owners were smart in decreasing the pricing and it made it possible for all of us.
Thanks so much for the great memories and we plan on returning in 2010 or who knows, maybe before then.

the view was breath taking the only thing that we found a problem with was there was no tv's in 4 of the bedrooms and 3 bedrooms we outside by the garage. the group of people that we go with like it when we are all together. beside that it was a wonderful vacation. the outside deck area was worth the stay.
