PET FRIENDLY - A fabulous 6 bedroom, 7 bath home completed January 2008. The bed sizes are: 3 kings, 2 doubles, 4 singles, and 2 sleeper sofas (1 queen and 1 single). This home features a screened porch, unscreened porch, rocking chairs, hammock, enclosed outside shower, pool table and ping pong table. Other amenities include; 9 tvs (2 plasma), wireless internet, jacuzzi, fireplace, wet bar w/icemaker, ceiling fans, elevator, and a private pool. 3 minute walk to the beach - easy access. As I turned in the keys, I complimented the quality and care that the owners put into this beach house. The beach was fabulous, but the beach house was quality, the kitchen facilities, pots, pans, and Pantry were quality, and the family all enjoyed this vacation above all others. My wife and I spend time on the beach. The others in my family loved the pool. I liked it so much that I have put in a deposit for the same time next year.

This was the second year we rented Summertime Retreat and we enjoyed our stay with extended family. The home is very comfortable, clean and a pleasure to stay in. It is very close to the beach and, after a day at the beach, we enjoyed a swim in the pool. We plan on going back in 2011!

The home and amenities were wonderful to accomodate my children and grandchildren. The elevator was a Big Plus as my husband cannot handle the stairs. The pool was small, but still was nice. The beach was an easy walk. The washer and dryer are a plus. An extra refrigerator for cold drinks would be nice. It is a lovely home and a great week for all of us!

This home is unbelievable! Our dogs loved it. The pool was fantastic, kitchen was awesome, screened in porch and the hammock were both heavenly! Thanks to this family for sharing their home. We had the best vacation.

This is a great house to stay in because it is so roomy and offers alot of different living areas which you can use. Alot of people can have their own areas in this house. The kitchen is absolutely wonderful also.

We normally go on a Family Beach trip to TopSail Island in NC and are accustom to having very nice accomidations. We decided to go to Litchfield at Pawleys Island this year and were not sure what to expect. We rented Summertime Retreat because it was pet friendly and a new home. We also wanted to rent from the Dieter Company because my Husband has used the Dieter Co. on winter golf trips. We had a great experience with the Dieter Company and the entire staff! The Summertime Retreat had just about every detail covered in the home. We had everything we needed. We liked the fact that they encluded all linens and the beds were very compfortable. The layout and floor plan of the home was perfect and very roomy. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front proch rocking chairs and afternoon naps on the screened-in back porch. The walk to the beach is not bad and what a bonus to have the outdoor pool with the hot tub. The owners did a get job decorating the interior and made you feel right at home. We plan to return!

We loved everything about his wonderful house! The location, the amenities were great. Wide open living spaces and room to move about the house without being on top of each other. The pool and outside areas were clean and well kept. Kitchen and dining great.

This was our first time to rent through Dieter Company. They were fabulous and the home we rented was perfect. All the accomodations were super and fit our family needs. I would recommend them and Summertime home to anyone. Can't wait to go back!

We spent a couple of days over Christmas at Summertime Retreat and had a great time.
Everything was clean and in order when we arrived.
We would definitely recommend this house to anyone...especially a large family with children. This floor plan can accommodate a large family or several different families.
Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will definitely return. -

Overall I was happy with the rental unit. However, I stayed in a 6 or so bedroom house and only I and my wife used the rental house. The owner of the Dieter Co. charged me for linens in all the bedrooms and when I complained all he did was reduce the price to half of the bedrooms. I will be using another rental company from this point forward. I am in business as well and keeping customers is more important than squeezing money out of them especially when it is absolutely something that they SHOULD NOT be charged for.

This is a new and beatuifully furnished and decorated home that is close to the beach. The layout of the home is excellent, and perfect for extended families. The pool is small, but very nice. Short walk to the beach. We will stay here again.

We stayed at 87 Summertime Lane the week of July 4, which coincided with our son's wedding that took place at Pawley's Plantation. Two families stayed in the house (2 sets of parents each with two grown children and spouses, 3 small grandchildren). We knew we would be entertaining a lot that week as 115 of our closest friends were traveling from OH to SC for the wedding, also! The home was perfect for our purpose, very well equipped, etc. The North Litchfield location was so convenient to everything we did that week. As for the bride and groom, their comment when asked about their honeymoon in NC the next week was, "It's no 87 Summertime Lane, but it will do," highlighted how much we all loved the house! You will not be disappointed.

Summertime Retreat is a great beach house. The house is well-planned out for multiple families vacationing together with children. We loved having 2 masters that were identical. The upstairs was a kid heaven, with the plasma, computer, pool table and private baths. The outside shower and bathroom were key when coming off the beach. My only recommendation would be to add another refrigerator on the lowest level for beverages. I almost hate to give this house a raving review because I may not get my reservation for next year. :)
