We enjoyed the comfortable three bedroom two bath condo on the fourth level. The view from the generous window wall in the master bed is magnificent. Minor problems, when reported to Litchfield Real Estate, were promptly and well taken care of by Kim who knew how everything worked. Under the building parking is a plus, except that it was built before Suvs, so careful manoevering was necessary to give room enough for the next side car.
The balcony was well furnished and brought us even closer to the ocean. The ramped walk over the beach dune was a real plus; it was being repaired when we left.
landscaping and maintenance were top notch. Convenient to several grocery stores, and a real bonus for us, the 'Olli" Osher lifelong learning institute held classes just across Ocean Highway. We enjoyd finding restaurants (Applewood hospitality and staff especially)
and other stores, and quality consignment shops.
We were surprised there was only the one set of kingsize sheets which were on the bed in the master bed room - none on the shelves. The washer and dryer are getting old and didn't do the best job, although convenient in the unit.
The TV in the living room is just too small to view from the living room sofa.We were there for three months, January -March 2012.Response from Litchfield Real Estate - 05/29/2012

Our first condo that was ocean front (small unit not complex) was double booked by Litchfield Reality, which we found out 5 days before we were to leave. They tried to make it right by putting us in this condo (complex 3 large buildings each 5 story) that was suppose to be all new. The carpet and paint was new, nothing else (1990) furniture. Was not ocean front it was the side and the balcony sat over a well lit parking lot- if you looked straight ahead and over the grass you could see the ocean. Fireworks at night was fun, master bed room was nice, TVs were also 1990 -- old and very small- one in living area and one in master bedroom- not good for kids -- they need a TV --in their room. The ice machine in living area in bar was awesome. The closet on first floor was nice with all beach stuff you need. We added to the supply with some crabing crates. We made the best of a situation we did not "pick" out. oh p.s. Construction was happening every day but Sunday starting at 730am - so ask about that ,men on lift trucks looking in balcony and windows painting and spraying

We always pass along to our owners suggestions and we will do so about the furniture and tvs. We are also very sorry about the "finishing up" construction - we were told by the management company that construction would be completed in early June! We love Litchfield-by-the-Sea and wish we could visit every year. Our unit in Shipyard Village, B-32, comfortably accomodated my wife and myself, plus my son Mike's family of four. My other son, James Robert Junior, rented a unit in Heron Marsh and a niece rented in the same complex, so we had quite a family get-together the week of August 23rd.
