Located just three miles outside of Payson, Arizona - on a private road with no visable neighbors - we are located on the banks of the gently flowing East Verde River - Arizona fish and game regularly stocks the East Verde River with rainbow trout (and if you are a Bass fisher we are only a short distance from Roosevelt Lake as well). Fabulous hiking trails (plus we are only three miles from the Tonto Natural Bridge), on-site ATV Rental and we also offer on-site massages (by appointment -subject to availability). The Casita is a free standing, fully self contained unit located on the grounds of the Verde River Rock House Bed and Breakfast - additional meals and amentities may be available - call and check for availability (Maggie @ 928-472-4304 or visit our website at: http://www.verderiverrockhouse.com ).

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 nights spent in the "casita". Maggie was very welcoming and available right next door for anything you might need. We wanted for nothing however, as the place was supplied with all sorts of snacks, coffes and teas, wine, waters, and other beverages. It is tastfully and beautifully appointed with an exquisite bathroom. Since we were in the midst of a 10 day trip we were burdened with a bit of luggage. This was a little cumbersome since this is a small rental. It was a bit tight, but we managed, and loved our stay. The deck is fantastic for coffee at dawn or cocktails at dusk. Only wish we spent another day or 2 there.

This is a great, private log cabin casita on a secluded street, very cozy for the two of us. It was very charming with its decor, was stocked with everything we needed, and had tons of little touches that set it apart from the rest. Maggie and Steve are wonderful hosts! You can tell they take pride in their property, and Maggie is a great cook. They are in the house behind the casita and were just an intercom away for any questions. We had fun grilling on the patio and watching the javelina in the morning. Thanks again.

All of the amenities of a 5-star resort without the crowds. This cozy little casita gets you close to nature without giving up the comforts of home. While the accommodations were outstanding, the real highlight of a stay here is the food. The decadent meals put the perfect finishing touch on what was already a memorable experience. I almost hate to give away my secret vacation spot but this one comes highly recommended!!!
