If coming through Payson, turn on 260, we are still 55 miles from Payson, Arizona If you are coming from Globe Arizona, you will travel 288 around Roosevelt Lake, we are 45 miles north on 288 Located on the scenic byway from the cactus to the tall pines to the DEADBROKE CORRAL in Young/Pleasantvalley Arizona. Young/PleasantValley Arizona and the deadbroke corral is located 20 miles off Hwy 260 between Payson and ShowLo Arizona. Which is forest road 512 coming from the North. Coming from the South it is state road 288 coming off hwy 188 from Roosevelt Lake around 30 miles. We are 3 1/2 hours from Phoenix and and hour from Payson. The roads to here are mountain roads, just drive slow and enjoy one of the most beautiful drives in Arizona. The Deadbroke Inn/Corral is located in the middle of a 5000 acre valley, walking distance to the Tonto National Forest and the services in the small settlement of Young.

Had a fantastic time here. Took our quads and went riding in the mountains. Saw scenery that just took your breath away. The Deadbroke Inn is a great place to stay if you want a true western adventure. Everything is decorated western including a replica of an authentic 1800's saloon. You can even have your pictures taken in the Saloon in authentic 1800's style clothing. The proprietors, Robin & Karla are great people, very accomodating, and try their best to make your stay a great one that you won't forget. The quietness of Pleasant Valley is very soothing and makes you feel like you are in another world. You get a taste of what the old West was really like.
