Poolside Retreat is located in a quiet area, surrounded by farmland, yet is within minutes of the beach and downtown Peachland. The Parrot Sanctuary and Wineries are only a short stroll away, plus there are beautiful hiking paths nearby. There is a choice of either our Carriage House or our 2 bed Poolside Suite.
There is also plenty of room to park your boat and docks are available nearby to rent.

Peachland is located in the centre of the Okanagan which is ideal to visit the many wineries from Vernon to Osoyoos and also the many festivals held, including the Elvis Festival in Penticton and Parks Alive, held throughout the summer weeks in Kelowna. In addition Peachland is famous for its Canada Day Parade in July and World of Wheels, where hundreds of classic cars converge on Peachland, in May.
The unspoiled downtown area of Peachland, is quite unique to the area as it is set on the lake and has many restaurants and shops, together with llkm of beach. In addition to this we now boast the highest zip line in the whole of North America, plus ATV Tours and Kayaking so it makes it an ideal destination for those wanting a bit of adventure too.
Poolside Retreat is also an ideal winter vacation for those who want to explore the Okanagan Ski Resorts. We are just 15mins away from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort which has downhill and Nordic skiing, plus snowshoeing for just C$10.00 including snow shoes.(Prices 2010). There is also Apex Ski Resort where you can watch the National Freestyle skiers train from the comfort of a nearby cafe, which is just under an hours drive and also Big White and Silverstar ski resorts which are just over an hours leisurely drive away.
We can honestly say Peachland has something for everyone so come and explore!

We Just spent a week at the Carriage House. What a great place! The photos on this website just don't capture what a roomy but cozy and private cottage the Carriage House is or how nice the pool area is. And everything is pristine - it is obvious that Gillian and Ray take great pride in their property. We all loved this place and would highly recommend it.

My family and I stayed at the Carriage House for a week in June. The house has everything you need to be a home away from home including a full kitcen, washer and dryer, dishwasher and toys for the kids. We took full advantage of the back porch with a picnic table and BBQ to have our meals and enjoy the Okanagan air. The house is very private with green space that we used for playing soccer and having a picnic. Having access to a heated pool just steps away was a huge plus. We will definitely be back next year.

When my husband and I booked the Carriage house for over 3 weeks we were a little nervous, what if this place was not really to our liking. When we drove up to the Carriage House at Pool Side Retreat we couldn't have been happier. The place is very charming, immaculately clean, and the area had a rural ranch feel to it, that made us feel right at home coming from alberta, Canada. We especially liked the garden area at the side of the cottage, it was very private and just a short stroll to the pool. Gill and Ray are perfect hosts and we will be staying in touch with them.
