I stayed in unit three for two weeks during summer vacation from La Jolla Ca. There were few surfers to compete for waves at the local surf beach "playa venao". The waves were good for short boards and long boards. We went fishing one day on the beach right out front. The neighbor next door cleaned the condo several times while we were there and beer at the beach was only a dollar!

Best swimming, fishing, quite and safe area. Great surfing just down the road. Fresh fish, fruit and juices right in town.

This condo is right on the water in El Cirjuelo and the local panga fishing is super - on an average day one has to stop fishing after 3 hours - due to load of dorado or tuna or wahoo (or sierra to 35 pounds). In January in previous trips the surf loads up with snook to 50 pounds.
Bring your tackle including 60 pound wire leader for wahoo, purple cedar plugs and Cd11 green mackeral Rapalas, orange CD 11 amd red and white Rapalas.
Spearfishing was awesome. Bring also sun protection - I use a mask - and wasabi/soy/sharp knife. Wonderful condo, super fishing and diving without the clutter of big fishing operations and lots of people/boats. Near famous surfing beach at Playa Venao. Gordon -

Wow, what a fabulous week we had in Pedasi! The views from the living space are unbelievable and we found everything to be new and clean (always a worry for me when renting someone else's space)! Venao Beach was incredible with nice waves and soothing sand. My girls loved going to Isla Iguana, a protected wildlife refuge. We loved snorkling although did not get a chance to go deep sea fishing - we are definately going back! Great rental!

Staying at Mr Higgins Condo was living like a rock star. Every thing was the best. Clean and neat to the best fishing you can find. I am looking forward to my next trip to Panama, and hopefully stay at this condo.
