Clare House forms part of the owners large Georgian house set on the fringes of the estuary village of Landshipping. It is comfortably and stylishly furnished in a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces, yet retains its original character with exposed stone walls, high ceilings and large sash style windows which offer beautiful rural views over the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The lounge/diner has comfortable sofas and a woodburning stove for cosying up on chillier evenings. Stairs lead up to the light and airy bedrooms with wooden floors and crisp linen. The front door opens out to a small, pretty and enclosed courtyard style garde...n - a sheltered spot to enjoy an alfresco meal. Across the road the owners have storage for bikes and an acre field gives space for children to play. The Cleddau estuary is within walking distance and teams with birds and other wildlife, and is popular with boating and kayaking enthusiasts with a choice of launching facilities. Clare House is conveniently located with a number of quaint villages that time has forgot nearby and a selection of beautiful sandy beaches within a short drive, as well as family activities like Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Manorhouse Wildlife Park and Heatherton Country Sports Park. An ideal holiday base from which to explore. NB The owners can supply, at a charge, eggs, home reared pork and lamb products, and home grown vegetables when in season. This is a no smoking property.Read more
