This 200 year old cottage is an idyllic image from a childs picture book. Orlandon Farm Cottage has wonderful views accross the rolling estate lands. The country style furnishings and the open log fire set the scene for a traditional cosy Pembrokeshire holiday. The modern kitchen and wet room and luxury upstairs bathroom reflects the unique country and contemporary design that this cottage has. The sheltered terrace and totally enclosed garden with gated access to the field and childrens play area is ideal for family games and barbecues. Very Quickly. Starting to show signs of neglect. And really does need a proper clean.
Kitchen - Dated, dirty and really could do with a deep clean - for the amount you pay the owners really should be deep cleaning it before each stay. Relying on people to have it clean before 10am is not acceptable. Sticky surfaces, grime on units.
Lounge - Sofas on the photo's look ok as the cushions are hiding the grime and wear. Cloth sofas on verge of collapse, leather sofa ok. All very dirty and makes you itch sitting on them.
Shower Room - Best room in the house - no issues - must be newish
Bathroom. - broken tiles around the bath taps mean that water is leaking through the wall into the upstairs hallway. Shower is ok but starting to go mouldy - maintenance would solve this. The plug filter on the shower was disgusting - full of multiple occupants hair which stopped the water draining. I'm sorry you don't pay over £1000 for this.
Bedroooms - Worn - some need new matresses - carpets are filthy and hidden by the fact they are a horrible green.
Overall - OK - but the owners really need to carry out urgent cleaning and repairs.
