Vila Sutra is a two bedroom villa, both with adjoining garden bathrooms and a private swimming pool.

The villa is owned by the popular Frangipani Restaurant and this allows us to offer you a unique combination of luxury accommodation and fine cuisine.

Villa Sutra is a fusion of traditional Balinese and light and spacious Western architecture surrounded on all sides by lush tropical gardens. The villa is entered through a Balinese gate onto stone steps seemingly floating on a waterlily filled fishpond and into a large open lounge room with high cathedral ceilings.

The lounge room has comfortable rattan furniture and a dining... table with seating for six. There is a large flat screen satellite TV and a CD/DVD player with a collection of movies and music and a small library of books. It also contains a kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities and a refrigerator. Free drinking water is available. The lounge room can be closed of by 3 m high concertina doors.

On either side of the lounge room are two spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with high Balinese ceilings and super comfortable kingsize beds. Other furnishings are a comfortable two-seater couch, a dressing table and large built-in wardrobes, all hand made by local craftsmen from beautiful teakwood.

Both bedrooms have adjoining open bathrooms clad in natural green stone overlooking lush tropical plants. The toilets are very private and hidden from the bathroom behind small walls.

Adjoining the lounge room is a verandah shaded by a large mango tree. A natural stone terrace with comfortable sun lounges overlooks an infinity edged swimming pool (11x3.5m) with a spa like pool entrance where you and your family and friends can sit and chat and perhaps enjoy a cool drink.

Villa Sutra is located only 200 m from the beach and 1 km from the mountains in the village of Pemuteran on the north coast of Bali
The villa is positioned on Jalan Arjuna, behind Frangipani restaurant.
Pemuteran is 3.5 hours from Denpasar airport via a scenic route through the mountains. Lovina is 45 mins to the east and Gilimanuk, the gateway to Java via ferry is 30 mins to the west.
Pemuteran authorities allow no hawkers on the beach or streets and this allows for a hassle free holiday.
Diving and snorkelling are very popular here and are reportedly the best in Bali. Snorkelling can be done off the beach 200m from the villa.
Menjangan island is famous for its coral which supports an endless variety of fish and other sea creatures. Diving and snorkelling trips can be organised including a glass bottomed boat.
There are many temples nearby, some hidden away on hill and mountain tops.
Bali Barat National Park is only 15 minutes from the villa and lends itself to trekking as do the mountains behind the villa.
Atlas South Sea Pearls have a pearl farm only 10 minutes from the villa and you can go shopping there for pearls and pearl jewellery.
Our manager Putu Suwastawa speaks very good English and can advise you about all the attractions as well as local facilities in the area.

  The villa is very beautifull en offers much comfort: good beds, free wifi and a great outdoor shower. The villa is situated next to the restaurant Frangipangi on a small piece of land, a bit too small for us. After a few days we started to feel closed in. The price of the villa is very good compared to other accomodations in Pemuteran.

  I have recently returned from 5 weeks away in Indonesia and what a great break. A highlight was seven days spent at Villa Sutra. The villa was ideal for a group including children. The house was comfortable and very well cared for - staff work really hard to ensure it's clean and comfortable for guests. The Manager was really helpful and helped organise cooking classes - a lot of fun and took my son and I on great local market tour. The villa is minutes from the restaurant attached to the villa - and the service and meals were great.
  The villa is not on the beach - but it's not too far to walk. Having said that it's easy to forget the beach - the villa's pool and general surroundings mean you can happily spend days hanging out 'at home!'
  I would definitely recomment this villa to others - and hope they enjoy it as much as we did.

  Villa Sutra is brand new and we were one of the first guests. We enjoyed every minute of it and will spend our next holiday here again. The villa is very spacious with beautiful airconditioned bedrooms and the best garden bathrooms we have seen in Bali. A large lounge room, shady verandah and a lovely pool with cleverly designed seating in the pool entrance, shaded by a large mango tree. Great place to soak and have a cold drink.
  There is also a second floor gazebo with magnificent views of the mountains. We had our breakfast served here every morning and you can have lunch or dinner here as well. Service was oustanding and Putu the manager was extremely helpfull and informative. He took us on some lovely tours around the area an to some nearby temples and local market. His English is excellent.
  We were only two minutes from the beach, good for snorkeling with good coral and a lot of fish to admire.
  Lots to do around Pemuteran, snorkeling, diving and trekking. A snorkeling visit to Menjangan island is a must. No nightlife in Pemuteran but that was no problem to us.
  The villa is owned by Frangipani restaurant and we were totally spoiled by the restaurant staff with gourmet food and drink. You can either eat in the restaurant or the villa.
  We highly recommend this villa and like to thank Putu and all the staff for a fantastic holiday.
