The condo was overall average. When we first arrived, everyone noticed a musty smell. But after spraying Lysol, the smell eventually went away...after two days:(.

Portofino (the towers - the whole property) is beautiful. The room was very nice with all the amenities as shown on the pictures. One recommendation would be to change the flooring in the two bedrooms. It was very stained. The carpet needs either replacing with a new one or add hardwoods. Everything else was first class. Magnificent views of the bay/gulf/peninsula.

We had a wonderful family vacation this year. There were no problems whatsoever with checking in, the rooms, and leaving. Portofino Resort is the perfect place for our family. The Ocean and Crab Hunting was amazing, the Pools are great, the entertainment and activities were great, and the food and gift shop/convenient store were wonderful too. There was only one small annoying problem really and all it was was that every time we would try to open the main do to the Lifestyle center our Key card would never open it but other than that it was okay. Usually there are enough people coming in and out of there that we only had to wait maybe 1 minute at the most to get in. I have children from ages 1-13 and each and everyone of them had a great time. Oh we also cooked 3 nights on the grill on the patio, how awesome. Our Room was even better in real life then the pictures. All of us loved every single room and the views were beautiful. We even saw Dolphins one morn ing from our rooms.

We had a wonderful time while staying in this unit. It was very clean upon arrival, the views of both the gulf and the bay were amazing! My kids loved the fireworks display that practically went off right outside their bedroom window! The resort in general was great as well, pools were nice and all staff was very pleasant, friendly, and willing to help. Overall a great stay, would stay again.

We made a last minute decision to plan a vacation during our Spring Break and figured booking a condo would be almost impossible, but Southern Vacation Rentals made it so easy. We receive excellent service, and the condo was far more than we imagined. We loved the beach access and all the extra amenities the Portofino offers...our teenagers appreciated the many pools and the bay was perfect for crabbing and jet skiing. We will defiantely return. Thanks helping oour family make some wonderful memories during our Spring Break!

The place was top notch. The staff at Portofino was friendly and the location made access to the beach easy, even with a two year old. We made a joke that we didn't have time to get to every pool. Our whole family was happy with the visit to the condo.

The carpet was far from clean in every room. The location was ok, the view was less so. This condo faces the Santa Rosa Sound rather than the ocean. Check in was at 4pm.

Nice condo. Just remember to bring everthing you need like toliet tissue, paper towels, detergents and soaps for the shower. Also trash bags & salt & pepper. Otherwise, welcome to paradise...

This was our first time in Penscola Fl. Loved the area and beaches great. The complex was in a quiet spot,the staff couldnt have been nicer. The condo was wonderful we would stay there again views were great kids already wanting to know when we are going back and we have only been home a week

The Portofino was the best get away I have had in a long time. The condo was awesome, the whole complex was just peaceful.
We had some tech problems with the TVs in the unit, but that was the only situation.
We are coming back in December. -

We enjoyed our stay but the bedding and furniture were tattered and torn. Although the staff brought up other bedding, it wasn't what I would have expected from a "resort" accomodation, not even the right size. Everything else was wonderful and we especially loved the pools.

We had a good time and really appreciated Ron and Row for working at the last minute to go to plan "B" at nearly the last minute. We would recommend this place to others and will return in the future.

We had a wonderful time at the Portofino. The condo was clean and laid out very well. The view was just perfect for sunsets or watching fish in the clear water of the sound. The pools and hot tubs were so fun to use and very convenient. The beaches were pristine and quiet especially just down the road. You could have a spot totally to yourself. We would love to come back to the same condo. Thanks to Southern Resorts for a perfect vacation at a great value.

Southern Resorts did a fantastic job accomodating us after a terrible experience in another condo. Portofino #4-1309 is absolutely beautiful. We loved the way it was decorated. The view here is spectacular, you get the ocean, the bay, and the entire island! We were there the week of the the 4th of July, we actually checked out on the 4th, and all week we could sit on the balcony in the evening and watch beautiful fireworks on the beach and the bay! The beds are very comfortable. It was nice having a king sized bed in the master to stretch out in after a long day at the beach. Having two twin beds in the second bedroom is nice also. My son loved having a tv and his own bathroom, he felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need. Another plus to this sky home was even though the resort was almost at full capacity, you never heard anything when inside, it was very quiet. We were able to sleep in when we wanted to, and were never kept awake at night by neighbors noises. The pool was wonderful, never crowded, and always clean, had plenty of chairs and shade. We just cannot say enough about this sky home! It is very comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed being able to stay out at the beach or the pool longer in the evening and not having to rush back to shower and change to go eat dinner, we came in when we felt like it and cooked dinner. Nice not to have to rush around when on vacation! It was wonderful! Perfect in every way. We come to Pensacola beach every summer, and I hope that we can make Portofino #4-1309 our place to stay every summer! We had no complaints about this sky home, Portofino Resorts, or Southern Rentals! This was our first time using a rental service for vacation accomodations, and we would like to thank Southern Resorts and the owners of Portofino #4-1309 for the much needed, relaxing, perfect family vacation. The only thing we did not like, was having to check out! Hope to be back next summer....

Portofino is a beautiful place. So family friendly. The condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect for 4-6 people. We had a wonderful time sitting on the deck watching the dolphins in the bay and going to the beach with the beautiful white sand and crystal clear water. We'll definately return to Pensacola Beach.
