Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay. The 4th bedroom only has a pull-out that is not very comfortable - so definitely only for children. The condo was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We were even able to check-in at noon which was wonderful. The patio is breath-taking, and the location cannot be beat. Would definitely stay here again!

We were shocked that the property looked just like the photos on line. We are interested in unit 801 or a larger unit next year. It was beautiful. The southern vacation rental staff were very professional. Our overall stay was awesome.

The condo was very comfortable and clean. The balcony/view was perfect.The comforters
and extra blankets were not clean,we had to wash them.The kitchen could use more utensils and a larger skillet, this is a condo for 8 people cooking in a small skillet took a while. The codes/pass cards were a little redundant, only 2 pass cards for a condo with 8 people was a little aggravating. Overall we did have a great time and enjoyed the condo alot. -

We love the Beach Club. Complaint: the king size bed in the master bedroom had enormous, uncomfortable sags and divots.

This unit is amazing! The view is wonderful, the balcony is huge! There are two balcony's! One off the front and one on the back. We had plenty of room, and I loved cooking in the kitchen! The fourth bedroom is a pull out couch, which we put kids on. This room almost seems wasted as a media room. It would be perfect as a actual bedroom. We travel with my father in law, and that room would have been a perfect room with a view for him too, but he could not sleep well on a pull out. Overall I love love love this place.

The location is terrific, beautiful views. Condo is fully equipped, very comfortable.99.5% satisfaction and definitely want to come back again. Two suggestions tho: 1) TV is so small and our video games did not go so well; 2) maybe need better lighting for outdoor BBQ, it was really hard to see my bacon when it gets dark.
Overall, every one was really happy. -

Southern Resorts was excellent to work with. We originally had the Emerald Isle booked however they had a power outage and forced us to move our reservation to another condo. Southern Resorts offered us an upgrade for the inconvenience and we went from a two bedroom to this 4 bedroom with 4 baths attached. It was an absolutely beautiful place and very spacious where 6 people never felt on top of each other and we had room for visitors! The view was absolutely incredible from the room and the workout area we used everyday along with the pool and spa facilities. We espeically liked that the beach was just beyond the the pool area. The staff in these areas were exceptional always maintaing the facility and friendly, especially the lady working hard to keep the indoor pool and the hallways clean was absolutely the nicest person. We commented on how nice the elevator always smelled and you could tell she took great pride in her work. We also liked that we were within walking distance to all of the activity. Last year we stayed at Portofino and loved that facility however you always had to hop in the car to get anywhere. The only fault we could find is that we were only given two key cards to get into the indoor pool and workout area and with six people, this was hard to manuever. Absolutely loved that you received a code to punch in to get in the main door, elevator, and your room. The smoke dector also went off numerous times during our stay. The humidity from the showers, even though we had the fans on and the smoke from cooking on the stove even though we had the oven vent on was a constant. Maintenance did come up to look at the oven vent and deemed it working, it did turn on but it did not pull up any of the smoke. Other than that, we absolutely loved our experience and would definitely come back to this unit and work with Southern Resorts again!!! It truely was a wonderful vacation because of the condo and the accessibility to all of the surrounding activities.

The Beach Club #801 is a beautiful condo with an amazing view. There is a great view of the Gulf and pier from the porch (there is a 2 or 3-story building between the condo and the beach but from the 8th floor it doesn't obstruct the view at all) and a small porch off the media room with a view of the Sound. It is conveniently located near many restaurants, shops and much more. The master bedroom was quite spacious with a large bathroom. The other room with a king-sized bed was rather small but comfortable. The media room was large but the pull-out sofa was not particularly comfortable... The room with the twin beds was very nice, quiet and dark (very good for little ones) with just a view of the hallway. The kitchen was perfect for entertaining with lots of counter space and a few bar stools for extra seating. The cabinets in the kitchen were fully stocked as far as the dishes and utensils, bottle opener, etc. and the appliances were very nice, clean and easy to use. Bring your own paper towels and coffee filters (basket type, 12-cup coffee maker size), those aren't provided but not a big deal, Publix is just a short drive away.
Besides the uncomfortable pull-out sofa (but come on, who expects those to actually be very comfortable?) and some dim lighting in the bathrooms, my only complaint would be the music coming from the restaurant/bar across the street. They had live music all three nights we stayed (Fri, Sat and Sun night, too) that went on well into the morning hours and was quite loud. I'm not sure if that's a regular thing but definitely something to consider if you or members of your group have a hard time sleeping through some noise. -

My large family stayed in this condo and a second one on the 11th floor for a week in October. We had come together from various parts of the country for my niece's wedding on 10/10/10. We were very pleased with the beautiful location, accommodations and amenities of this wonderful resort. The weather was perfect and waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning was heavenly.

Really enjoyed my stay. Rooms emaculate and had everything I could have dreamed of. Premises very well kept and felt very safe during my stay. Can't really think of anything I did not like, would definately recommend to friends and family and would come back.

The condo was private, peaceful, clean, elegantly furnished, well equipped with top of the line appliances, and has fabulous views from three sides. Hearing the waves all day and at night took the visit over the top. Our son loved walking to and from the big pier ten minutes to fish every day. We could see him through the binoculars!

We were pleased with Beach Club and these units are lovely overall. However it appears Southern Resorts cut corners and 801 needs some improvements. We were very disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for repair seven of the ten days we were there, but we received no notice before we chose the unit, or arrived. The condo appeared to have the "Windex brush-over" instead of a thorough cleaning. Refrigerator wasn't even wiped out, floors were dirty. Linens on one bed had not been changed. The outdoor grill was filthy and unusable. While Southern Resorts did send someone over promptly, the grill still wasn't clean enough to use. Some furniture pieces are in need of repair. Sink stoppers were broken in Master Bath.

I felt like I was living the life of the rich and famous for a few days! The place was beautiful and very clean! Everything you needed was right there; everything you would have at home and more. My only complaint was the delay in Southern Resorts getting a telephone directory to me.

This place was wonderful. It amenities were supurb. The gym, the indoor pool (and hot tub) and the outside pool were extremely nice. There are many security codes you will need to learn, which was a bit overwhelming in the beginning but by the second day, it was fine. My husband and I took 6 kids and I felt very safe with them being there and going to and from the condo to the beach/pool without us. This condo was really, really nice!

The curtains fell off the track when we tried to open them, the dining room chairs were very unstable and wobbly, one of the bar chairs had a big screw hanging out of it that one of our children scratched themselves on and chair back was almost falling off, the shower door in the master bathroom doesn't stop where it should and swings right on into the shower, several of the outlets in the kitchen and along the bar didn't work.

Thank you for letting us know how your stay went. I sincerely apologize about all of the issues listed in your review but I am glad to hear you still thought the condo was nice. We were informed about these things at check out and all has been corrected. We should have been more proactive in finding the problem with the chairs upon inspection and for that I am sorry. The shower door was operating when inspected but the strip on the shower door came off and has been re-attached. This is as nice of a condo as you will find anywhere with countless amenities and no expense has been spared. We hope that you will choose to vacation with us again in the future.
