PORTOFINO is the ultimate luxury destination on the entire Gulf coast. Our Condo is in tower 5 which has just been finished (May 2006) and is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach. When staying at Portofino, you need to understand which views you will get. Ours is only one of 36 that has the near Gulf uninterrupted SW view. This condo has UNINTERRUPTED VIEWS OF THE BEACH to the southwest and northwest which includes fabulous sunsets, views of the Gulf, the intracoastal waterway an...d the length of Santa Rosa island. PORTOFINO has many amenities which are yours to enjoy for free while you are here.

You will use the FULLY EQUIPPED GYM which just may be the NICEST IN THE WORLD, and overlooks the outdoor infinity pools and Santa Rosa Sound. Classes available at extra charge.

Enjoy playing on five Rubico and LIGHTED TENNIS COURTS ( court fees apply)

Swim in any of the 8 on-site HEATED pools and hot tubs.

PORTOFINO is located on the Gulf of Mexico on the eastern end of Pensacola Beach, Florida. It is an easy 25 minute drive from Pensacola International Airport (PNS).

Our condominium is located in Tower Five , on 6th floor. It has been professionally decorated and features nine-foot ceilings throughout. The entrance has eight-foot-wide double doors opening onto oversized ceramic tile flooring throughout the living area, kitchen, and baths. There are high speed internet connections at various locations in the unit. BRING YOUR LAPTOP. Wireless Internet Provided.

As you stand in the kitchen or living area you can see the clear blue Gulf of Mexico. The 43 foot long balcony off the living area and both bedrooms allows for spectacular views, including a direct view of the pure white sand beach, the sunset and the intercoastal waterway.

The master bedroom has a true KING SIZE BED, the 2nd bedroom has two full-size beds. This makes the 2nd bedroom a little cramped but it sure beats sleeping on a sleeper sofa. Full-size washer and dryer are in the Condo for use.

There is an outdoor electric grill for your use.

There are four beach chairs which you are welcome to take to the beach.

We live in the area and frequently use the unit for our own use so it is equipped with everything you need. Just bring your suntan lotion, beach towels and food.

Luxurious furnishings reminiscent of the finest five star hotels decorate the entire unit.

Twenty-nine movies are available for viewing in the unit with a nice tasteful selection for both adults and children. TV's are in each bedroom and a 35" TV is in the livingroom.

Unfortunately, boats and motorcycles are not allowed on the property. You will have to store them off-site.

Pricing excludes, cleaning ($75) and amenity fees ($80) and does not include beach chairs, the Portofino boat or taxes. Beach chairs are available in the unit and you are welcome to take them to the beach.

This is a NO SMOKING UNIT.

Rental is on a 3 night minimum but we will rent for 2 nights at a slightly higher rate.

Pensacola Beach is the undiscovered gem of Florida Beaches with miles of white sand and emerald blue waters that most tourists only dream of. We are mostly, quiet and laid back but close enough to the "big city" to find almost anything you want. Restaurants and shops are conveniently located on the beach and once here you will never want to leave.

Add $155 for cleaning and amenity fee and 11.5% tax. Normally a 6 or 7 night minimum in the summer. Three nights other times.

Add 20% for holidays and special events.

  beautiful condo on gorgeous white sand beaches

  This condo was really well appointed with a great view of the white sand beaches of the area. The view from the balcony was breath taking and although it was pretty windy during our stay, we were mostly sheltered from the worst of it so we enjoyed eating in just to watch the sunset.
  The rest of the resort was very nice and we made use of the tower pool, the clubhouse pools (even an indoor pool in case of inclement weather) and the fitness area ( actually as nice as the pictures show). We also were happy to be able to rent bikes to ride along the beach on the bike trails - right from the resort check in - so very convenient. It was great that the resort is located with beachfront on both the calm bay side (N) and the gulf shores coast (S). Personally, we did all of our walking on the gulf shores side because the view was so awesome and the beach stretches for miles. We were really impressed with the white sand too - never seen such whiteness - and the locals are very good about picking up litter and keeping the beaches looking pristine.
  We also really liked the fact that their were several restaurants in close driving proximity to the condo. In general, this is a place we would like to visit again and we would seriously consider staying here again too.
