This condo was very disappointing. The living room furnishings and rug were simply disgusting. The couch was small, old and smelled. The rug was also dirty and smelled. The bedroom furnishings were ok. The air upstairs in the master suite barely works, so if it is 70 downstairs it is at least 80 upstairs.
Overall, this was very disappointing. Too bad, since the Beach Club used to be a great destination - the facility overall is very nice with indoor and outdoor pools and is right at the beach. But at $300 a night, this unit was overpriced by 80%. -

The location is perfect. We as a family can have 3 to 5 rentals all next door to each other or very close. This year we had 5. The facilities are awesome. Great pool area and the gym facilities are world class. My biggest disappointment was that a couple of nights there were people in the pool area that threw beer cans and watermelon rinds over the fence into the dunes area. They could not have been guest there, but you never know. I am not sure how you could prevent that unless you caught them in the action. Wish I would have caught them!

I rented a unit in July of 2008. We were a family of 6. Even though the unit advertises it can accomodate 7 people, it is an over statement. The bunk bed in the hallway is totally useless since the ceiling prevents any person over 3 feet access to the bed. The unit had just been released for rental and it looked new and clean. The coffee grinds from the previous renter were left in the coffee maker and some soiled sheets were found on the sleeper sofa. When I called the rental agency they appologized. The microwave kept giving off sparks and setting of an alarm. Upon inspection, the repair man had no idea how to fix it and simply unplugged the unit. The master bedroom is nice and roomy, as well as the bathroom. Great views! The other bedroom downstairs was a nice size as well. The small dining table for four (!) was too small to accomodate 6 people, and prevented us from having a family meal together at the end of the day. The patio furniture was also for 4 people only. If the appartment advertises to accomodate 7, it should be set up to accomodate that many people. Otherwise, great location, clean, but I have since found many other options in the same price range with larger accomodations.

Thank you for your comments. The location of The Beach Club is superb. The views amazing. This newly built complex that opened in May 2008 certainly did have some kinks to work out. We are pleased to annouce that the kinks have been solved and we are ready for 2009. We certainly are hopeful that you will give this complex and beautiful Pensacola Beach another visit.
