Take refuge in this lovely resort condo offering magnificent views. Up to eight of you can stay here at a time; there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
You'll feel right at home in this unit, with such amenities as a washer/dryer, DVD player, and fully furnished kitchen. By staying here you have access to a common pool, fitness room, boat dock/pier, and tennis.
During your trip, consider fishing for flounder and mahi-mahi, playing some golf, and walking around the Pensacola Historical District.

I felt a bit duped by the "3rd bedroom". Was under the impression that there were 3 bedrooms and an extra room with the queen murphy bed. really shouldn't be advertised as a 3 bedroom.

We stayed here for 7 days in August and were very lucky that the weather was beautiful. It was humid, and sunny, the perfect beach weather. The storm came after we left.
The condo was professionally decorated with all the amenities. The view was spectacular.The resort had several pools including a large indoor pool, which we loved since I didn't have to lather the kids up with sunblock lotion. The beach umbrella and chair rental at the resort was pricey ($40/day), so we bought our own umbrella ($15-20) and used that for the entire week.
The beach is very kid friendly as the waves were mild, the beach is clean, and the water crystal clear. There were a lot of fish in the water. The water is also shallow so we could walk in the water quite far from shore and still have the water level at our waist.
While we enjoyed the location and the kids loved the beach, there is not a lot of activities at night. There were no large shopping center nearby or any nightlife.
The downside to this was that toward the end of our stay, two people entered our condo unannounced using a separate sets of keys. Apparently, the owner gave an extra set of keys to his family and told him to stay at the condo during the same time that we were there. They demanded to see proof that we actually booked the place. I felt that this was inappropriate and encroached on our privacy and safety. If you book this place, please make sure that this place is not double booked and that no one can enter without your permission. -

Everythng from checkin to checkout was exceptional. The Portofino is the way to go. We have been coming to the area for several years and have stayed at other places nothing compares with the Portofino. Great accomodations and the best location...

I spent January through March at this condo. It is beautifully furnished and located right across the street from the Gulf. I walked the beach each day and had a wonderful time. My kids and grandkids also visited and enjoyed the condo very much. I plan on staying here again next year.
I would suggest that the owners leave something in writing on how to run all the electronics (DVD, Surround Sound, TVs, etc)in the condo.
Overall my experience was very enjoyable. The fitness center, restaurant and bar, and inside pool are also nice. I also took advantage of the water taxi!
I would highly recommend this location and this condo. -
