We loved the location, the view was great, and check in was easy. The floors were extrememly dirty, and we all had to wear our shoes around the whole stay or our feet were black. I almost mopped them myself. Also, we had two kids that were supposed to sleep on the couch bed, but it is not in any condition to sleep on. If you have planned on someone to sleep on the sofa sleeper, then bring an air mattress for them instead. We loved the location though, very close to shopping. We loved the pool and the easy access to the beach as well.

We spent our spring break in this unit this year. Outstanding view of waters. Comfortable, clean. Close enough to the pools to keep and eye on the kids.
The only complaint is that the pull out sofa is not sleepable. Very uncomfortable. Some of the springs are missing and there is no support. So don't count on this unit sleeping ten people.
Otherwise it is a beautiful, well decorated place to enjoy a wonderful stay on Pensacola Beach.

I'll start off by saying the couple negative things: you're charged a cleaning fee as part of your rental contract and when we got there my 17 mo old found a goldfish cracker under one of the sofas & ate it before we could get to him...who knows how long it was there because under the sofas was really dirty...we laughed about it but there might be others who may be upset by that...the other minor thing is that the place is kind of outdated. For the money that you are paying, chipped cabinetry and the like is kind of unacceptable, really. Other than those two things the place was incredible!!! Lots of awesome places to eat nearby, cozy accommodations & the view is amazing from this rental!!! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and loved bringing our baby boy to the beach for the very first time. We made some incredible memories here and will definitely be back--even if everything wasn't perfect...it was darn close. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Very nicely furnished. View was amazing! No outside noise! Had a great time! Nice pools and loved the boardwalk to the beach! The only problem is the unit was very dirty. From the time we got there the floors were extremely dirty! We took our shoes off at the door as we do at home but shortly the bottom of our feet were black. We had the were shoes while in the room at all times. I spent more time than I would have liked trying to get the place clean enough for my family to stay. This problem can easily be fixed with new cleaning people.

I was without a kitchen due to a remodel at our home in Pensacola with 6 family members coming in for Christmas, so we decided to rent a condo on the beach. Everything was great except for the weather, extremely windy and cold. The kitchen was large and the dining room table had room for all of us. We had fun watching videos and playing games and looking at the beautiful gulf. A very comfortable condo.

This condo was fabulous! The heated pool was a huge hit with the children, the location was perfect, and the rental office was across the street, making it very convenient to pick up and drop off keys. I would recommend this unit to anyone!

The condo was gorgeous and had an amazing view and was very well equipped. Very roomy and the pool and hot tub were great! It was a great location close to food and fun! The only complaint I would have was it could have been cleaner, the grout is extrememly dark in some places and white in others. There was hair attached to the rug in the living all around the edges, either dog or human couldn't tell. But otherwise, I loved it I would stay there again - maybe a bigger TV in the master bedroom, its hard to see, but with an amazing view probably most people don't notice that! Thank you!

The condo was great. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room for all. The accomidations were more than what we expected. The view was awesome from the balcony where we spent a lot of time. Thank you to the owners for sharing your vacation home with us.
Any additional wants we decided we needed were all within walking distance: Food, clothing, souvenirs, resturants, entertainment, etc.
We had a miner problem with the door when we got to the condo, but called Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals and they were there within 5 minutes to fix it. What customer service!
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I recommend this particular condo at Emerald Isles to anyone who wishes to have a fantastic time at Pensacola Beach. -

For the most part, the condo was clean. The one major complaint we all had was the amount of sand throughout the unit. It seemed as if they forgot to sweep and mop before we arrived. Other than that, the location was perfect and we had a great weekend! The view from the balcony was exceptional. Best of all, it was a great, reasonable price!

I stayed w/my son, parents and brother at Emerald Isle this trip. This was the first time we stayed ina 3 bedroom condo, it had a breathtaking view, not only of the beach but also facing down to the pier. Our stay was very comfortable but the cleaning people needed to do a little better job. I had to sleep on the sleeper sofa which the bottom part had two springs holding the mattress up. A few small things we noticed two from other condos there we had stayed in, there were no hair dryers, nothing that told the TV channels and the pots and pans were all scratched up which the problem could have been alleviated if they would have had plastic utensils instead of metal ones. These issues were very minor and would never keep me from coming back there. Emerald Isle is the only place we ever stay and we come every year and will continue too. Almost forgot when I made the reservations I was promised some Southern Perks and when acquired about them at the office the gentleman told me there were none that was a little disapointing. All aside it was a wonderful vacation and will return next yr. Thank You for the oppurtunity to share my views. Cindi Rauth and Family

This condo is overall terrific. Great decor and furniture. The view is spectacular because it is a corner unit- the kitchen is well stocked-I've never seen so many dishes and silverware in a condo. It's quite spacious-even the laundry room is large. The pool and hot tub as well as lobby and surrounding areas are extremely well maintained. We had issues with the lock on our door and a broken DVD player that were taken care of in a timely manner by cheerful staff at Southern resorts. These are very quiet units-we rarely heard our neighbors in the 2 weeks we stayed. I would definately stay here again!

When we were on our way down(6 hour drive), we called and there was an over-booking of our condo. We had 4 teenagers with us. Our 3 bedroom condo was still booked for one more night and they showed that we were to arrive on the 7th although our paper work showed we paid for the 6th-10th. SO, the first night we had to stay in a 2 bedroom condo in the same resort. The two 18 year old boys had to use the pull out sofa and the 2 thirteen year old girls took the 2nd bedroom.
Because of the mix up we were not charged for the first nights stay, which saved us a little money yet did make things complicated for the boys....On the second day we got moved into our original rented room and it was lovely. We liked the 3 bedroom condo, it's location in the complex and the 3 bedrooms made all the difference in the world. Especially dealing with teens. The condo was decorated beautifully. We had all the things we needed and brought all the things that we knew we would need (via telephone conversation with management).
We really enjoyed our vacation (although to short) and error in booking seemed to iron itself out and we had a great time.
The bedrooms were large, the living/dining/kitchen area was all open and windows made up 2 sides of the corner condo. this made it especially nice.
Ashtrays should be provided for any condo with a balcony. Just my opinion!

The three bedroom unit was big enough to sleep our 6 adult and two kids without any issues. We also hosted the dinners with 9 additional people and the condo never felt cramped. Everything worked in the condo so we were very pleased with our stay. The unit is definitely 10 years old (tile countertops) so anyone expecting something brand new is off base. The a/c was cold and the appliances all worked (just what a condo on the beach should do). The views of the gulf and the west were excellent.

My family and I spent five wonderful days at the Emerald Isles Resort in Pensacola Beach, Florida. The unit was more spacious than I anticipated, very clean, comfortable, and afforded a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. The location put us in the middle of everything. We were within walking distance of the night life as well as steps from the beach. Check in and check out were a snap and security was not an issue.
My family has already begun talking about a possible return next summer.

This is a very nice condo. It is family oriented. It is right on the beach. The smaller pool is heated. The hot tub was clean. They clean the pools everyday. There are a lot of places within walking distance. Alvin's Island was not too far away, Subway, Ice Cream, Funny Cars ( a place to rent small little electric cars), Putt Putt, and small little shops were close by. There is a Walmart and a Winn Dixie about 10 miles away. Very easy to find. There is a 1.00 fee to cross the bridge as you are coming to the condo. You do not pay when you are leaving. The room was very nice. There is a great view. The kitchen was fairly equipped. I needed a few things in the kitchen, but we got by without. We found the room to need a good cleaning. There was a lot of dust on baseboards, bathroom cabinets were dirty, stains on the bedspread, and table was dirty. It would have felt so much better if the room would have been well cleaned. I reported the cleaning issue to Southern Resorts, so hopefully something was done about the cleaning. Outside of this issue, it was a great place to stay. We would definately go back.
