The weather and the beach were wonderful. The condo could use a few upgrades. There were no hot pads in the kitchen, nor a salad bowl or bread basket. We slept in the second bedroom and the mattress and pillows were not luxurious. Plenty of bath towels but only one hand towel and only two wash cloths. Unit could use some extra decor to make it truly beautiful.

My husband and I brought my older Son, his wife and daughter, my daughter and her son and my youngest son (13). We had a great time. The kids of course loved the pool when the beach got to be too much for them and the adults enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The beach was clean and the water was awesome.

We stayed here for the week of the Blue angels show. I love the location because everything is within walking distance and we had an awesome view of the practice runs every day. The rental was very clean and had everything we needed! I only wish we could have stayed for the acutal show on the Saturday. I would definately recomend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing time on the beach.

We loved the condo, it was alot bigger than it looked in pictures. we loved that there was a door to balcony from living room and bedroom!! kitchen and living room was very open!! lots of sitting room, washer and dryer, etc. the only complaint is they said the fold out couch was way too uncomfortable so he slept on couch not folded out, and tv in bedroom is way too small and too high up to see it. but otherwise it was the best vacation ever!!!

Over all it is fantastic ! A few repairs are necessary but a great place to stay on your vacation. Labeling wall switches would help.

Stayed for about a week in April 2010. Unit was decently furnished and had great view of Gulf.
Southern was very helpful in correcting wi-fi access andd in helping us with some printing we needed.
All in all, a professionally managed property.

The condo was very nice. Needed a little TLC, but overall, very nice. The complex itself was great! Great pools (which could have been heated) and awesome hot tub. Will be staying there again.

Our condo was centrally located with easy access to the elevator. It was very clean, bright, with all amenities that we needed for our stay. There is an iron and ironing board that was not listed in the amenities so hopefully those who read this will not bring these things unnecessarily as we did. The location of Emerald Isle is central to the acitivity of the island. There was easy access to the pool and beach, something the kids really enjoyed. I would go back and rent this sme condo in a heartbeat.

My family and I had a great stay at emerald isle #704. The staff at Southern Resorts was excellent. The condo was fully furnished even down to the paper towels in the kitchen. The master bedroom tv could have been larger. Also, I wish there were screen doors along with the sliding doors. Great spot on Pensacola Beach, however as all condos on P.B. you have to drive back over the toll bridge to the nearest grocery store.

We have been going to Pensacola Beach for 30 years. Hotel stays were great, especially with the breakfast available each morning. We had a small breakfast this year in the condo and did not miss a hot meal at all. All in all a great vacation. The room was nice and the Southern Resort folks across the street were very helpful......

The view was awesome. Right on the beach. We brought our bikes, so 2 minutes from quiet water board walk. Beds were very comfortable. Huge kitchen. Ceiling fans every where. We had a great time.
