Remember being a kid at the beach? When the best house on the island was the sandcastle you made? Now you can stay at your very own "Sandcastle" in Perdido key, Florida!! This condo has been creatively named the "Sandcastle" of the Purple Parrot Village Resort. A three bedroom condo equipped with a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the guest bedroom, and two twins in the third bedroom. The master bedroom has an LCD television, large walk-in closet with the longer stays, and its very own private bathroom with a deep tub and separate stand-up shower. The lower level has been stylishly completed with bamboo floors, comfortable living room furniture, and an upgraded kitchen - complete with corian countertops, natural wood cabinets, and a must-have wine rack built right into the cabinetry. The deck has been completely screened-in, the condo has wireless internet, and is conveniently near the parking lot so that you can pull right up to the front door!

Response from the manager Sorry that Visitor Center's promotion did not apply to your reservation. That promotion began in early August and was for reservation which occurred between 8/9 and 9/5. The seasonal specials offered in our area are much like those of others in which the promotions have a start date, end date and restrictions. The restrictions of the Amex promo you are referring to leave little room for bending of the rules as the money being given away was provided by BP and as a result the promotion is audited. I hope that your stay in the SandCastle was a good one. From your review I gather that you agree the condo is fantastic, its location within the resort is great and the end of July is a great time to be in Perdido Key as the first line is that your only disappointment was not being eligible for the Visitor Center's promotion. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
