Very nice and clean Resort. Not farm from Johnson Beach. Nice outdoor Pool area. You will find everything you need for a nice family Vacation right there. We enjoyed our stay and will definetly recommend it.

Our stay at Purple Parott resort Villa 11C was very pleasant. We walked in and all said "wow, this is really nice" We were impressed with how clean everything was and we instantly felt like we were at home. Our teenage boys enjoyed having their own double room w/ attached bath and a TV. (final four weekend) The master bedroom w/bath was also very nice and the bed was comfortable. Both rooms had seperate second floor decks. The speedy wi-fi was a plus. Everything was in great condition and the full kitchen saved us a bundle on dining out. The outdoor pool/hottub were very nice. However we found ourselves using the indoor pool and hottub most of the time because it was almost always unoccupied. Check in was simple. I did have trouble w/ the house key and had to walk back to the management office. The lock had been converted to a passcode type recently. The desk gave me the code and I was on my way. Very minor problem. I also had to request the wi-fi password.
In a perfect world. the resort would be right on the beach instead of 3 blocks away, but then the price would be double. This is a very nice place to get away for some fun in the sun and we will put it at the top of our list when planning another get away.Response from Perdido Key Resort Management - 04/12/2012

We were pleased with the condo, its cleaniness and beachy decor. The condo was well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, bedding and towels.
The pool area was beautiful and relaxing. We lucked out this year by having the great weather and went home with suntans!!
We have booked the same condo for next March and are looking forward to our return visit.

The cottages are adorable. Great pool. Great food and enteratinment at the Tiki bar. Nice that the bar is on site and very accesible. The waiters and waitresses at the Tiki were horrible. Very bad service. We tried to order drinks from our table and were told that " the bar is over there".

loved the villa! it was clean and comfortable, close to the beach and gulf shores. the only issue i had was with the pool and parking. during the day the pool is great and the tiki bar doesn't disturb you, but at night we had issues with some very drunk girls putting on a "show" in the hot tub in front of my kids. the bar staff took care of it quickly but the damage was done. so we avoided the pool at night from that point on. parking is a problem there, its like a free for all, no set spaces and no real effort on the part of security to enforce parking passes. if you go eat somewhere plan to park by the office if you get back past 8pm. i am an early riser so i noticed when i woke up at 5am every morning magically spaces are everywhere by the villa, so that tells me the spaces where taken up by people who didnt stay there.
