Perfect end to summer. Our Group consisted of grandparents, son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren under the age of 6. Weather involved remnants of hurricane Isaac, but did not greatly affect our stay. Less crowded at this time of year which makes activities with children easier. Short 5 min drive to National Seashore for morning swims followed by dip in the child friendly, awesome pool. Mom and dad loved the spa in the middle of the "island". After that we enjoyed lunch and short nap. Back to the pool for sun and fun, then time to ready for dinner. So many places to choose from! We even stopped by the fish market under the bridge and bought the most fantastic shrimp to cook for dinner some evenings. Fish was great as well. Loved the drive to Ft. Morgan and the ferry ride to Dauphin Island. All loved the Estuarium visit. Back at home for an evening dip in the indoor pool and some unwind time in the sauna.
House has room enough for all to relax and the kitchen contained all we needed. Would have loved to have been able to grill at the house...that would be our biggest complaint. Definitely will come back. -

just a suggestion, being from another area, we had a hard time with the television, there was no information regarding how to use. Also, since bar-b-queing is not allowed, I just assumed that the stove would have a broiler pan, which it did not. We stayed the previous year and were also surprised to learn that the tiki bar was closed along with all the tv's and the ability to order snack food at the pool and many of the pool lounges were missing along with the picnic tables and corn hole games. Those were the things that set your rentals apart from most others.

Belgrade, MaineHome away from home!
Left on 05/31/2012 for a stay in January 2012
No problem was truely our " home away from home". The 3 months we lived there were wonderfully quiet, and rejuvenating. Jd was always just a phone call away whenever we had a question... and Tony did a fantastic job maintaining our little beachhouse village...
We have only one concern. The future of the Tiki Bar...will it reopen? And if it does will the noise and rowdiness be controlled?

The home was beautiful! Would love to return! Had very minor issue with getting password for wireless internet, and then when password obtained , it did not work. Mainly issue with teenagers! Probably good for them to be out of touch with internet on vacation! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your vacation home!

I loved this unit. it was beautifully decorated and well stocked. The view was beautiful and the area was more than we expected. There were a few problems but they were minor and addressed quickly. I would stay again! I loved it.

This was my second time staying at Purple Parrot Village. We all enjoyed our stay at "No Problem". It was all clean except for the cigarette butts left in the ashtray outside. I thought that was kind of gross. We also saw a roach on the counter. It maybe because we left our food there all week. That really grossed me out. Overall, everything was excellent! They got our payment screwed up at the office, but they fixed it before we left :)
