This is a 1 bedroom 1 bath upstairs condo at the Purple Parrot Village Resort just steps from the outdoor pool. This condo comfortably sleeps a family of no more than 2 adults and 2 children. The living room is equipped with a television, DVD player, internet and a sleeper sofa. The bedroom also contains a queen bed, television and DVD player. The kitchen is fully furnished and this vacation home includes a washer and dryer in the condo.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parrot-Dise. The staff was very friendly. The cottage was nicely decorated and had everything we needed to eat in and relax. The pool was best of all! Our boys spent most of their time there. We liked best the relaxing atmosphere and that our cottage was so close to the pool. We liked least the squeaky bed in the master bedroom, which was really not that big of deal to us.
Overall, we loved it!

We received five star service from the rental company. The unit was just what it said it was going to be -- thus it met our expecatations.
Rated as four star for 2 reasons: The carpeting was dirtu/stained and 2)the outdoor pool is not heated.

We loved our stay at the Purple Parrot resort. It was our home away from home. My 1 yr old son enjoyed the pool. Having our own washer and drayer was a blessing! My only concern was that even though we said we had a baby they put us right next to the speakers for the bar/band area. Great for people who enjoy a relaxed night life just not for a family with small children. Kept the baby up till after 11pm.

We came from the northeast to visit our son who is stationed on the Navy base. Our condo was spotless, had everything we needed, was two minutes from the store, two minutes from the beach, ten minutes from the base and the alabama border. One of the nicest and easiest vacations we've ever had and we will certainly be back in the future!

Timing is everything under normal circumstances, I would have had a nice family vacation at the Purple Parrot. I like the atmosphere of the pool area and the grounds were very quite.
