The Parasol West House is located in beautiful Perdido, Key FL, near the Florida - Alabama state line. The home is located on a waterfront lot along Old River. Across the street from our subdivision is the gorgeous blue-green Gulf of Mexico and the soft, white sugar beaches that Perdido Key is known for! Perdido Key is 10 minutes to Orange Beach, AL; 20 minutes to Gulf Shores, AL; and 30 minutes to Pensacola, FL.

My husband and I (along with our dog, Molly), my mother and a friend will never forget this vacation and the home we stayed in from May 6-10. The Parasol West Home described on the internet as spacious, light-filled and lovely with unbelievable water views was dead on! We thoroughly enjoyed fishing in old river and just hanging out in the beautiful weather we were blessed to have during our week's stay. The home was beautifully decorated with eloqant furniture and furnishings. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and enough blankets provided for each room. The kitchen was fully equipped to fit our needs. In fact, it allowed my mom and me to cook meals each and everyday which was very special to the both of us. The fact that Molly was able to come was of the utmost importance. She had been abandoned last summer in a field directly across our business and was so scared of anyone who would cross the street coming towards her. No one could catch her. But I was relentless and after 4 weeks I got myself a beautiful, smart, friendly and wonderful buddy. Leaving her in a kennel for 5 days was not an option for me since I do not want her to feel abandoned ever again!
Val & Renee' could not have been nicer. Prior to our trip, I had questions regarding several issues and always received a quick response from them. Also, we had to cancel our trip scheduled for april 25-29 due to the death of my father and they graciously offered to help me in anyway they could should any problems occur regarding my claim for reimbursement of monies paid from Travel Insurance Company. Thank you, guys! With the death of my dad, this is where my mom and me needed to be at the time. We will be back.

My wife and I along with our older children stayed in this home in late august. I do not want to give this home a good review for selfish reasons. The more good I say, the more booked it stays. The truth is, I have nothing bad to say about our stay. It was absolutely wonderful. My whole family had plenty of room, and their was more than enough to do. They enjoyed the fishing and the beach. The home supported everyone, including my handicapped father who can not use stairs. The elevator was a tremendous asset. All in all, I must say, given the opportunity we will definately be back. Thanks Val and Renee' for a great stay!

Beautiful view of the bay and a lovely home...We also enjoyed fishing from the dock and the easy access for our jet ski and other water craft.
