This is a 1 bedroom 1.5 bath seventh floor privately owned vacation home at the Perdido Sun Resort located directly on the beach. This condo comfortably sleeps a family no more than 2 adults and 2 children. The living room is equipped with a television, DVD player, internet and a sleeper sofa. The bedroom also contains a king size bed and television. The kitchen is fully furnished with all appliances and this condo has a private beachfront balcony.

My eldest son recommended Perdido Sun. I was taking the boys to Perdido Cye since 1988. My last visit was prior to " Ivan". I was so impressed by the rebuiling. Your property was just what my son from Germany and I were looking for a short vacation. From the managment to the condo was " Great, friendly and helpful". Our visit was wonderful. Again, Thanks !Hope to return next year !

I arrived very late at night and with some pre-coordination from the resort management the entire process was hassle free. The location of the condo is ideal, just across the bridge from the mainland on the Florida side of the island. The building itself is well-maintained and my party enjoyed the pools and spa very much. The beach access was fantastic and the views from the 7th floor balcony were breathtaking. The unit needs some attention to the furnishings, though. The buttons on the microwave are nearly impossible to press and it tends to turn itself on at random intervals. The shower curtain in the bathroom had been ripped and should be replaced. All of the closet doors are showing their age and are difficult to keep closed. Also, the hot water is very hot, so be careful! Overall this unit is a fantastic value and provided my family with a very relaxing five day vacation on Perdido Key. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit or the resort management to my friends and family!

We had a great stay at Perdido Sun. Our condo was in the process of a much needed update! But since the weather was nice we did not spend much time in the condo. Hopefully the owners will continue to update the condo. We have not stayed at Perdido Sun since 1988, and some of the furnishing, diswasher, bathroom definitely need to be updated. However, the staff, the pool, beach chair service at Perdido Sun and the Resort Management company were super! We enjoyed our stay and since we booked on such short notice we were happy to have a place to stay. The deli and the shopping area across the street were very convenient. Perdido Sun is a great location, we will be back!

I loved the location of the rental and also liked everything about our condo except for the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable, hard like sleeping on a board. They ready need to invest in purchasing a new mattress. The view and and sound of the gulf coast was worst it all.

The location of the condo and the balcony was great.The room had a bad smell in the first night when we arrived.The some bed linens need replacement .Toilet paper holder,towel holder,soap holder field down. The curtain was flawed. Usually the kitchen furniture were outdated.The Perdido Resort Management, Particularly Mr. John Hallam was very helpful and easy to get along with, great. Again,thank you so much John. Unfortunately, We have missed the front desk friendly helpful Mrs.Paula. We did have a good time in spite of the units problems.

Thanks for the feedback. We were able to correct everything while the guest was staying with us. No odor was detected by the staff or mentioned by the renter again. We deemed it likely a result of having turned on the heater for the first time in a while. On the beach, we don't use the heater often, but the first time it gets turned on sometimes there is a little dust on the coil. Just for good measure we later had all of the carpets professionally cleaned as well. I appreciate the kind works about me and good news is that Mrs. Paula now works in our office, so you're welcome to stop by and visit with her on your next stay. We carried our 2 granddaughters with us to Perdido Key Sun. We understood there were bunkbeds for the girls in the room and also a washer and dryer available in the room. The pull out sofa was very very uncomfortable. It had broken springs. The mattress pad was dirty. The washer and dryer that was available for us was in the basement and we had to put money in them to use them.
The view was great. The balcony was great. There was nothing wrong with our kitchen. -

The location of the condo was great. The condo smelled terrible as if the carpet had mildew. Carpet needs to be pulled up and replaced.

The service was great, the front desk workers were wonderful. The condo was nice, I liked the location. The sofa bed was the worst! The mattress was totally wore out and hung through the bottom. We had to buy an air mattress for the kids to sleep on. I liked the security there, the code was great, I felt like not just anyone could come in and out. I do wish there were washer and dryers in the room.

We went to Walmart to buy air freshners.The condo smelled stale. I was disappointed that it did not have a washer & dryer in the condo. But all in all it has a great view and the pool was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I (just the two of us) enjoyed our stay at the Perdido Sun. The staff on location was very friendly and helpful. The beach area, outdoor pool and indoor pool were all well kept and we enjoyed all three. The view from the balcony of unit 704 was fabulous!!!
The unit itself is very functional and met our needs. But, unit 704 could use a little attention: the towel bar in the master bath was broken and there was some black mold in the tub/shower; many of dishes and glassware in the kitchen cabinets was put away dirty and had to be washed before we used it; and the bedspread although very clean is worn and outdated. One major concern for anyone renting this unit especially with small children is the hot water. The hot water is very, very hot and it someone is not careful they could possibly get scalded.
Our overall experience at the Perdido Sun was absolutely great and we plan to go back again but will most like stay in another unit.

We had a great time! This condo was very basic. This was perfect for us because we have small children which meant less worry about them breaking something or getting into something they shouldn't. However, the mattress on the bed really needs replacing. It was very uncomfortable. We were also very surprised that this condo had carpet. Overall, we had a great time but we will probably stay in a different condo next time.

unit 704, Perdido Sun needs complete upgrading/modernization of kitchen and all bath areas. unit did not even have towel bars for use, all broken. The door hardware needs replacement on all interior doors. The paint is ok but all is bland color from walls to furniture. It certainly was not worth 680+ bucks for a weeks stay. All outside closets are junky and very dirty looking. All bed linens need replacement with new sheets and a new comforter. apparently the owner takes no pride or interest in his investment. we did have a good time in spite of the units problems.

We make every effort to accurately represent these properties online through the descriptions and property photos. I checked the listing for this unit to make certain that everything is current and found that it is correct. The bed linens are supplied by a professional linens/housekeeping company and are the same in all of the one bedroom condos throughout the resort - no other of which has had a negative mark concerning the bed linens. The room size is great and the view as well. But, the room had a bad smell in the first night when we arrived. I don't know if we got used to it, or if the smell actually went away. But, it was bad when we arrived.

We LOVED the balcony view it was great! although you couldn't see the sunrise from the angle, we love having direct view of the beach and the ocean. The staff were very friendly, helpful and very accomodating to our needs.

Beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Friendly staff. Lots of activities to do on the beach. Facilities were clean. The condo was nice. Could use updated decor, but we weren't there to spend time inside, so not a big deal. We had a wonderful time!!!

We had such a fabulous vacation. I loved the access to the beach and the inside/outside pools were nice too. The lobby staff were friendly. I was disappointed in our room. The furniture, bathrooms, paint, etc... were very outdated. It was not at all dirty; however, for the price we paid I would expect everything to be fresh and newer looking. Several of our relatives were there at the same time and paid a slightly higher fee for thier condos. The places they stayed versus ours can't even be compaired. I will definately pay a little extra next time for updated accomidations and and better amenities.

As someone who NEVER wants to go back to the same condo I have to say I love this property and would go back in a heartbeat. The lobby is beautiful. I like there's a staffed desk during the day. The covered pool was awesome when it was too hot or raining. The balcony was huge and awesome. There is open beach next door and is not crowded at all. The only beef I have is our unit needed updated decor and had no w/d so we had to use the coin operated ones in basement. Had to cross the street to the bar to get quarters too. I knew that going in though so next time I'd get a unit w/better decor and a w/d & it would be perfect. We will probably be back...

We had a wonderful time on our vacation at the Perdido Sun. It is right on the beach with an excellent view. The management was very helpful and easy to get along with. We will definitely be returning again this year and we are looking forward to it!
